Meghan loves to make it look like she cares when she doesn’t. For example, she claimed she had a close bond with him after Prince Philip died.
Prince Philip’s passing was sad for everyone, especially his family. He was a beloved husband to The Queen. Father to Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward. Grandfather of eight grandchildren and great-grandfather to ten great-grandchildren. However, an article by 9Honey came out about how the Duke of Edinburgh and his granddaughter-in-law, Meghan Markle, allegedly had a close bond. This is what we call total BULLSHIT!
Before we begin, we’re not blaming the publication here. We’re blaming the leaker, who was either Meghan herself or her PR team. She is so full of crap! She knows the Queen and Prince Philip were always wary of people who had motives. Also, why would she claim to have a close bond to the Duke of Edinburgh when it came out from her PR team that she wouldn’t postpone the Oprah tell-all due to his illness as it was the Palace’s way of ‘muzzling’ her? It is because she is delusional!
The Queen Was A Smart Woman
The Queen has known people who attempt to use her family for their own gain. Also, this photo of Her Majesty at the Sussex wedding sums up what she thinks of her granddaughter-in-law.
Let’s not forget that Meghan went on national television and publicly called the royal family racist. So, how can she say there was a close bond between her and her grandparents-in-law when she claimed the whole family was unsupportive and cruel?
Prince Philip was known for his gaffes, but he didn’t mean anything by them. However, if Lady Colin Campbell is right and Princess Anne was the royal who questioned Meghan’s intentions, then Meghan will have much explaining.
What Prince Philip Allegedly Told Harry
Prince Philip was a no-nonsense man who, according to his grandson William, was very welcoming and kind to his wife, Catherine. But, as Princess Anne said of her father, he was her most prominent critic, which brings us to what the Duke of Edinburgh allegedly said to Prince Harry when he revealed his intentions to marry Meghan. There is nothing wrong with marrying actresses; look at Lord Frederick Windsor as a prime example. His wife, Sophie Winkleman, is an actress, and there’s never been any negative press about her. However, the Duke of Edinburgh is much like his daughter, Princess Anne, who could see through Meghan’s act from the beginning.
Anne’s views were then twisted into a racist narrative by the Sussexes to garner sympathy from mainly the American audience. It worked as many people believe them while most do not. Prince Philip had every right to be concerned, but he made a brave face for Harry as this was the woman his grandson wanted to marry.
Prince Philip Would’ve Been Fuming When He Learned That His Family Had Gotten Publicly Trashed.
Despite being gravely ill in hospital when the Oprah interview aired, Prince Philip knew what was happening in Sussexland. According to 9Honey, it was reported that the Duke of Edinburgh had been kept in the dark while he underwent a heart procedure. However, they also say there is zero chance the Royal Family would’ve been able to keep the contents of Harry and Meghan’s ‘tell-all’ a secret from him.
The article states in a quote from Roya Nikkhah, a royal correspondent for The Times, His Royal Highness would’ve known what was going on as The Queen would’ve provided him with updates as it was an issue to do with the family.
Prince Philip might’ve been old, but he wasn’t stupid. He knew that a war between his grandson and his granddaughter-in-law was coming. He would’ve had something to say about it.
Meghan Does Not Understand True Family Bonds
Meghan’s claims that she had a ‘bond’ with the late Duke of Edinburgh are unfounded. Why would she claim such a thing? She publicly vilified his family. She would’ve known if she knew him at all; he would not have stood for it. This is why he cautioned Harry not to marry her.
Finally, the world knows how Meghan views families. She has no time for them. She dumped both sides of her family for no reason, while only her mother was on her side. Her dad has tried and failed to contact her after the rigged paparazzi photos were exposed, but she sees him as dead to her. Though, she has also faked paparazzi shots in the past. As hypocritical as this is, it shows who Markle is as a person.
Also, Meghan fed Harry a massive slice of lie pie to make him say in their engagement interview that his family would be like the one she never had. So what? At the time, we all believed she had no other family. However, they soon came out of the woodwork to say they’d been there the whole time. What about the photo posted to her now-defunct Instagram account of her with her niece, Ashleigh, with the hashtag #familyfirst?

No information has been released on whether Ashleigh is still in her aunt’s inner circle. However, we can assume she’s not, given she wasn’t invited to the 2018 royal wedding. So, Meghan has no long-term family bond with any of her family. Who knows what her relationship with her mother is now as she hasn’t been seen for a while.
