What Is The Right Thing To Do Regarding The King’s Coronation And The Sussexes?

coronation

Will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend King Charles III’s coronation? That is the million-dollar question. Never fear, everyone, as we have three ideas of what may go down. There’s not just the thought process of “will they, won’t they”, but what could happen if they crash the party.

That is what we will be exploring in this post. So, let’s begin with what will happen if Harry and Meghan don’t respond to their coronation invite and show up.

1. The Coronation Gate Crash

So, one thing that won’t happen, but hey, we can hope, is the possibility of Harry and Meghan ignoring their invitation but deciding last minute to gate crash the coronation. Here is what we believe would happen:

  • The palace gets no response from the Sussexes as to whether they are attending.
  • Harry and Meghan show up halfway through the ceremony.
  • Someone stands up from their seat and calls the pair out.
  • Security tries to intervene, and Harry yells that he has rights as he is The King’s son.
  • William stands up, points at his brother and pronounces that he is a “traitor.”
  • Everyone else in Westminister Abbey does the same.
  • Meghan and Harry leave the church in shame where the public throws tomatoes at them as justice for Yankee Wally.

2. The Sussexes Decline Their Invitation

Now, the most obvious thing people expect the Sussexes to do is to decline their invitation to the coronation. However, if they do this, it will make them look like the following:

  • Petty.
  • Uncaring.
  • It proves the Megxiteer community correct (which they are, but that’s not how the Sussex Squad and the Sussexes themselves see it.)
  • It will show that they only have loyalty to themselves and the money made by trashing their families.

3. They Do Go

So, the third and final option we have to do over is what could happen if the Sussexes do go. Here’s our thought process.

  • The Sussexes will be booed and will have tomatoes thrown at them.
  • They will be jeered at by the public.
  • Meghan will dress inappropriately, so the attention is on her.

Richard Eden said in a Palace Confidential episode uploaded to YouTube a few days ago that Harry will not be seated with Meghan if they attend. He will have to sit with the Dukes, meaning Andrew, the Duke of Kent and the Duke of Gloucester.

It has been said that Charles has changed the rule, so the Dukes don’t have to kneel and swear allegiance except for Prince William. The Dukes of Kent and Gloucester are both getting on in age, and it would be difficult for them to kneel.
