Meghan Markle’s Alleged Bestie, Serena Williams, Gets Blasted For Entitled Behaviour

Serena Williams Restaurant Drama

Meghan Markle must be proud of Serena Williams after the retired Tennis ace caused drama on Twitter when a French restaurant denied her entry. There will be people saying, “Oh, it’s a race thing.” No, it isn’t.

Serena William got called out for being entitled. What happened was that the restaurant, which is called Peninsula Paris, turned her away because it was fully booked out. Did she suddenly forget that she’s in Paris, the current host city for the Olympic Games?

Also, the restaurant reached out to explain that the tables Serena Williams saw vacant were for the establishment next door, so the drama should never happened. Here’s the tweet that Peninsula Paris shared:

Here’s where the restaurant drama with Serena Williams takes the entitlement angle. She attempted to use the rejection to make it appear her children were somehow affected by it. It gets better. The Daily Mail reports that a staff member said the tennis player looked “unrecognisable.” Not everyone knows who she is.

Serena Williams’ Restaurant Drama Is No Big Deal For The Small Folk – Her Entitlement Is Showing

Not everyone follows Tennis. For Serena Williams to start drama with a restaurant all because she was denied, due to having no seating available is just stupid. A normal person would be fine with that and find someplace else to dine. However, for an entitled tennis player like Serena to go on Twitter and blast the restaurant, it shows how some famous people use their status to demand things.

Peninsula Paris is being applauded for not giving in to Serena’s demands. Other restaurants would have kicked out a customer to accommodate the high-profile celebrity.

Another point that should be mentioned is, why didn’t Serena do her homework before walking in and demanding a table? She knew the Olympics were happening. If she knew she would be Paris, why didn’t she book a table after the Games were announced? This is what regular people do when they go to a high-profile event. One example we could use is King Charles III’s coronation. The second the date was announced, people were booking hotels and flights.

The same applies to the Olympics. Once the location and date is announced you start booking everything.

There is one more thing we wanted to address here. There have been rumours that Meghan Markle herself has engaged in this type of behaviour. One such piece of gossip claimed that when she was dating Prince Harry, she stomped into a Canadian restaurant and demanded a table and that her boyfriend was a prince. Finally, this comes courtesy of a Maître D in New York who published a book about his dealings with celebrities. The allegation appears in an article by Business Insider.
