So, we finally have an update on the Samantha Markle v. Meghan Markle case that is currently going on in Florida. The next court date is November 8, which is November 9 in Australia for those interested. Also, according to the Royal Grift, Meghan attempted to get the appearance done on Zoom.
As we mentioned in our previous post, The Royal Grift briefly highlighted some issues we’ve covered. So why is Meghan so hellbent on having the court session on Zoom? We’ve got a couple of thoughts on that. This is just a theoretical as we’re not part of the court system.
Meghan Wants To Control The Narrative As Much As Humanly Possible
We all know that Meghan freaks out whenever she cannot control the narrative. The Oprah interview was her way of keeping that control. However, this is not an interview. This is a court of law where the judge gets the say. Also, it would not be surprising if Markle believed she knew how to behave in a courtroom as she played a lawyer on Suits.
Being a lawyer and playing a lawyer on television are very different things. Also, being the narcissist that she is, she will order her lawyers to be ultra cruel to Samantha Markle by telling lies about her. However, we don’t know if either of the Markle sisters will be required to appear in court.
Why Did Meghan Want The Appearance To Be On Zoom?
No, we don’t know why Meghan filed the motion to hold the court session on Zoom. However, it would seem that she wanted to avoid seeing her sister altogether. Also, according to The Royal Grift, the court filing says it is to avoid travelling to Florida to the physical courtroom.
Meghan doesn’t want to see her sister as she knows the truth is going to slip out, and she has no control, like she had no control in Jason Knauf releasing her and Harry’s emails to the court during her case against the Mail on Sunday over the release of her dad’s letter.
Finally, with a Zoom conference, it can be recorded and this is what Meghan wants, a copy of the event for whatever reason; likely Netflix footage.
