Our condolences to the people of Sussex, England. They have to contend with having Harry and Meghan associated with their county. That would drive us mad with annoyance. After so many years of attacks on the British royal family and the country in its entirety, the couple has now gotten the roasting of a lifetime.
They are being made a mockery of on U.S. late-night programs. From Saturday Night Live with Steve Martin and Martin Short to Jimmy Kimmel’s book about the prince’s penis, the roasting keeps coming. Almost two weeks ago, they were made fun of on the adult animated series South Park. The show, which has taken aim at every central figure over the years, called them out on their victimhood, shallowness self-serving nature as annoying hypocrites who claim they want privacy but go out of their way to get attention.
Because of that, it gave us the idea to remind everyone of the various roasting the Sussex couple have received. So, let’s begin with the first roasting; Jimmy Kimmel.
The Prince And His Todger
When Harry’s memoir, Spare, first dropped, people were getting kicks out of the constant references to his penis. It became so funny that Jimmy Kimmel made a laughing stock of the situation on his late-night show. A YouTube user named Denise was able to post the segment to the video platform.
The Worldwide Privacy Tour – South Park
The most extensive roasting the Sussex couple have gotten was on South Park, where their likenesses were used brutally. In the episode, the “Prince and Princess of Canada” run around screaming for privacy but do everything to draw attention to themselves, annoying Kyle, the lead character in the episode. They also cry victimhood. We did a post on the things in the episode that were based on real events. We also did a review.
Steve Martin And Martin Short – SNL
Who doesn’t love a good SNL roasting? We sure do, especially when it is done by legendary comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short. Steve and Marty, who currently star with Selena Gomez in the Hulu series, Only Murders in the Building, took a swipe at the Sussex duo in mid-December 2022 when they did the monologue on SNL, as seen in the video obtained by the Daily Express.
Despite the dig lasting only three seconds, the audience laughed. It’s rumoured that Harry would’ve been on the show but cancelled at the last minute after the pair made fun of him. It goes to show H and M can’t take a joke.
Trevor Noah – The Grammys
So much for being an ally of Meghan Sussex; Trevor Noah took a well-aimed swipe at the Sussexes, mainly Harry, while hosting the Grammys. He was a guest on Meghan’s podcast, Archetypes.
James Corden – Talking About Todgers
Finally, we get to James Corden, a now-former friend of Harry. It looks like the Hollywood bus tour was a one-off. Say what you want about him, but he took a massive swipe at both Harry and Meghan on his late-night show, as seen in the below video.
In the video, he swipes Meghan’s constant need to wear camel and even digs at Harry’s constant referencing to his dead mother and how much his wife is supposedly like her. Another potshot he took was how the camel jackets gave the illusion of the wearer believing they were better than everyone else.
Meghan has worn camel several times, including in New York, for those who don’t get the reference. Harry even wore the colour too. They went to New York to the UN, believing they could walk in (with an apparent appointment) and just shine, implying because they carried royal titles, they could do whatever they wanted and not get punished. Corden might’ve referenced the rumour that they were kicked out of the UN building for wearing wires. He also gave Harry the metaphorical middle finger by bringing up his frostbitten penis.
