SUSSEX RUMOUR: Did Meghan Stop Harry From Putting Out A Statement About Camilla’s New Title?

Queen Consort

Say what you want about Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, but she will be a fine Queen Consort when the time comes. In the week since the news has come out, an interesting blind item was posted to Markle News, where it claims that Meghan Markle prevented Harry from putting out a statement about his stepmother’s future title.

Blind Items are usually correct. It’d explain why they’ve been silent for the Queen Consort announcement and issuing congratulations to Her Majesty The Queen for becoming history’s longest-reigning monarch. Usually, the Sussexes would be all over something like this as it keeps them in the spotlight. However, there has been quiet. It’s unsettling, to be honest.

Queen Consort Camilla Would Ruin Victim Narrative

We’ve been thinking about this since we saw the Blind Item and the reason why Meghan could’ve told Harry not to release anything is that it would ruin their narrative.

The key talking point Harry loves discussing is his mother. He brings Diana up every chance he gets, and blaming Camilla for everything is the perfect victim story. However, the media keeps a record of everything. Social media sleuths dug up old articles from 2005 after Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall got married where Harry is quoted saying that his stepmother was “a wonderful woman” and “wasn’t the wicked stepmother.”

Richard Kay, a royal journalist who was friends with Princess Diana during her life, reiterated what Harry said all those years ago in an article for the Daily Mail. What’s more, he goes over how a young Harry found out about Camilla. William, who already knew about the affair, had a stifles a laugh at his younger brother’s nativity. The princes were fifteen and twelve at the time.

Back in the present, Meghan’s obsession with her and Harry’s image has resulted in severe backlash. Neither has the talent to pull off meaningful ventures, so they use the one topic people WILL respond to; Diana and the legacy she left behind.

At Least Charles And Camilla Were Respectful In Their Own Way

The world still holds a bright candle for the late People’s Princess. However, opinions change. The public accepts Camilla, but support for her will never be as high as it was for Diana.

When Charles and Camilla married in 2005, Diana had been gone eight years. Harry was going on twenty-one while William was twenty-three.

Yes, Camilla was the mistress. But, she has more than earned the Queen Consort title when her husband becomes king. After all, The Queen Mother was a Queen Consort, and so was Her Majesty’s paternal grandmother, Queen Mary of Teck.

If Charles and Camilla were desperate to get married, they could’ve gone to the altar straight after the Wales divorce had been finalised. However, they didn’t do that. They waited almost a decade after the Princess of Wales’ passing to do so.

Also, Camilla chose not to use the Princess of Wales title and instead dons the Duchess of Cornwall title. Not to mention, Camilla doesn’t try to be Diana, unlike Meghan who is making Harry believe she’s in danger and he needs to save her.

Meghan’s Diana Endgame

The Queen Consort matter has nothing to do with Meghan, but if the Blind Item is true, then she has Harry under her command more than we thought. She has made him see Camilla as the enemy of what his mother could’ve been.

In Harry’s fragile mind, his parents loved each other and Camilla came in and took Charles away from Diana. He does not see the larger picture like he use to. The marriage was arranged just so there was an heir born to a woman of noble birth.

Charles never loved Diana. She came to love him, but she knew deep down that the marriage wasn’t about love. Had she lived, she would’ve instilled sage wisdom upon her boys, telling them to find the person they wanted to spend their lives with as she didn’t to have this with her ex-husband.

Harry is at the point of no return. He cannot see straight. He wants ‘revenge’ on his father for not being the husband to Diana he was supposed to be. There’s a lesson here. As he said in 2005, Camilla was “a wonderful woman.” You can respect someone but you don’t have to love them.
