The dance floor is beginning to heal with ten celebrities fighting it out for the mirror ball trophy. This week is all about music that brings up memories from the past.
Dancing with the Stars AU is beginning to get hot. Sure we have many shirtless male dancers and, yes, a few of the male celebs, but it’s all about the heart and soul that goes into the routine. So this week’s theme is memories of the past that had a tangible impact on the remaining celebrities.
1. Michelle and Aric
Michelle danced the Tango to honour her son, Axel. It was a special moment to honour her family and her partner, Commando Steve. Craig, being Satan, called the routine d-u-l-l. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad either.

Constance’s routine this week is Contemporary to honour the kids she sponsors in Kenya. She threw everything she had at the dance, but some elements were slightly off.

4. Jett and Lily – Memories of Surf Lifesaving
Jett won a medal in surf lifesaving. His dance this week is Tango. The routine is one of his best dances over the last three weeks. He even showed the judges up by jumping up onto their desks. But, it wasn’t perfect, mistakes happened, and Craig was critical again.

5. Denise and Jeremy
Denise Scott is dancing the cha-cha to a moment in 1966 when she was 11 when she became a comedian. She added so much heart to the dance where she shares her fear of going out onto the stage for the first time as a kid.

6. Jimmy and Alex – Memories Of Vinny And Mack
Jimmy’s memories routine of celebrating the births of his twin boys, who came after two and a half years of trying for a second child and ten years on TV. His dance represents the love he holds for his family and is the rumba. His wife was in the audience, and the judges loved

7. Cassandra and Marco – Memories Of Her Divorce
Cass’s performance reflected 2016 when her marriage broke down and how there was a load of criticisms surrounding her and her private life. Two of her three kids were in the audience.

8. Olympia and Jarryd
Olympia’s memories routine reflects her struggle with a toxic relationship and being hired on Neighbours. Her dance was raw and showed the strength she had to get out of the relationship.

9. Courtney and Joshua
Shane (Courtney’s male alter ego) talks about how he realised he was gender fluid after talking to his friend Chaz Bono, the son of Cher, who was once her daughter, Chastity. Her dance is Tango.

10. Samuel and Jorja
This week’s dance was emotional for Sam as he dances to honour his late sister, Connie, who died after a lifelong battle with cancer. His dance showed his deep love for Connie and how proud she would be of him.

Who Got Eliminated?
This week’s elimination was a little different than last week. Instead of two contestants on the chopping block, it was three! Oh, the drama! Cass, Denise, and Michelle were placed on the chopping block. It was just as well as Sarah Harris, Joe Hilderbrand, and Angela Bishop were there because Denise was eliminated from the show.
