It’s Time To Fight Back!

fight

The CW has gone too far! Stargirl Season 3 hasn’t even started yet, and the recent cancellation of Tom Swift indicates that the beloved DCTV series isn’t as safe as we think. Due to its potential buyout by Discovery, we’ve covered recently that The CW has cut more than half of its programming to heighten its chances of being bought. In other words? It cut all the “dead weight.” It doesn’t matter if the show has run for multiple seasons. The fight for the only show with an uncertain future is now in the hands of its loyal and dedicated fans.

As massive fans of Stargirl, we’re beginning our fight early, even though there is only a teaser promo at the moment. We’re encouraging everyone who watches the show to binge the series on The CW app and HBO Max. For Australian fans, please subscribe to Stan, the HBO Max alternative for Stargirl viewers. Also, be sure to make a commotion on social media! We need to show The CW that the series is worthy of being renewed.

Shawn McBee of the Stargirl Aftershow podcast and a graphic designer on the series has said that he is optimistic the show will be renewed for Season 4. He also stated that if he had information, he wouldn’t be allowed to share it. We completely understand this, as there would be issues if the information came out before it was supposed to.

No Competition Is Perfect For Our Fight Back

Stargirl TV, an accurate source, has said that given the show will air in the US Fall (Autumn), it will be the only DC series to air. Moreover, it won’t compete with The Flash or Superman & Lois. What’s more, given it will lead the new schedule. Also, it’s in a significant timeslot, which means that The CW has faith it will get an extensive viewing.

Until the series returns, we will be continuing our fight. Be sure to tweet and share yo love of the show. We do not want the series to end on a sour note the way Tom Swift did. Though we’ve seen some people say the series isn’t great, and we’ve seen the numbers for the first five episodes. Again, they weren’t spectacular. The latest episode was in the 200k views range, which isn’t good for broadcast television.
