Let’s take a peek inside the inner circle of Her Majesty The Queen…
Queen Elizabeth II is a very cool lady. At the age of 95, she still continues to reign over the Commonwealth and more importantly, Great Britain. Since the death of her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Her Majesty has had the most amazing support system. This group consists of her family and the topic of today’s discussion, her inner circle.
We’ve wanted to do this for a while just to break up the royal content. We’re getting really tired of having to report on the Harkles all the time. So, without further ado, let’s jump into it.
Angela Kelly
The first member of the Queen’s inner circle is Angela Kelly, Her Majesty’s senior dresser and personal advisor. She is also a friend of the monarch and someone you do not want to cross. She has put together some of The Queen’s most iconic looks and is the one responsible for her wardrobe.
Angela reportedly clashed with Harry and Meghan over the tiara that Markle wore on her wedding day. She is one of the only people outside of the family who is allowed to touch the Queen, according to Town & Country Magazine.
Sophie, Countess of Wessex
Possibly the most famous of all of The Queen’s inner circle is her daughter-in-law, Sophie Wessex. She is the wife of Prince Edward, Her Majesty’s youngest son.
Sophie is the mother of Lady Louise and James, Viscount Severn, and often flies under the radar. In recent years, she has become one of the more hard-working of the senior royals. She is also super close to Her Majesty.
It is said by The Mirror that The Queen is incredibly close to her two youngest grandchildren.
Lady Pamela Hicks
One of the Queen’s many cousins, Lady Pamela Hicks has been in Her Majesty’s inner circle the longest. She is a former lady-in-waiting who is the daughter of Lord Louis Mountbatten. This makes her a direct cousin to the late Prince Philip.
Lady Pamela also has a great knowledge of royal life.
