Will Mackenzie play dirty?
Dean’s half-sister, Mackenzie is hurting right now but appears to be slowly coming out of her daze. She lost her boyfriend, Ari to Mia, his ex, and then she suffered an ectopic pregnancy, resulting in the loss of their baby. Since then, she has been spiralling out of control. She has been sleeping with random men, getting herself drunk, partying, and pushing her friends and family away. With Mia now pregnant with Ari’s child, there’s every chance that Mac might play dirty and get revenge.
Now, Mac isn’t usually one to play dirty, but she did fire Chloe from her job at Salt because she doesn’t want a constant reminder of what she’s lost. While the breakup had nothing to do with Chloe, Mackenzie was simply being spiteful.
Going back to the situation with Mia, Ari just dropped Mac the moment Mia rolled into town looking for Chloe. Not only did this sting, but her behaviour spiralled which terrifies Dean who spent much of last week’s episodes wondering if his sister is the female body found in the water. Turned out it was conwoman Susie, but we’ve covered that.
While we understand why Mac is hurting so much, Mia’s pregnancy will likely push her to breaking point. She might not want to admit it out loud, but she’s still in love with Ari and likely always will be. After all, they were doing so well, until Mia came back into his life.
Dirty Tactics?
We haven’t been following filming lately so we don’t know whether Mia will lose the baby or not. Given the show has Tori’s daughter Grace in the picture still, it’s likely something may happen to Mia and Ari’s child. But, if this does raise the question of Mac and whether she plays dirty.
We know Chloe and Ryder’s food truck is going to explode and people will be caught in the crossfire. We reported on this news a few months ago, but could Mac be the one who causes the explosion, or is it just a freak accident? Only time will tell what happens. We know that Dean’s sister has been upset because the food truck has been taking business away from Salt. But would she really stoop this low? Also, is Mia one of the people caught up in the blast to the point she loses the baby? We don’t know yet as the episodes are coming up.
If Mac does tamper with the food truck then her target would be Chloe and Ryder. Not necessarily Mia and/or Ari. It might mean if they are caught up in it, then it is a case of wrong place, wrong time. It would be the wrong time for a love triangle to surface.
