Today’s coffee adventure took us to Gregory Hills where we decided to try Extract Espresso, small café with next to Officeworks. We couldn’t make up our minds where we wanted to at first. Originally, we wanted to Maccas for a Bacon and Egg McMuffin anda Hash Brown, but we drove past it and thought we’d try someplace else.
Extract Espresso has a centric vibe to it where it has old style lounges like in the 50s. We chose to dine outside, away from the crowd that occupied the inside. The place serves Campos Coffee like at our regular haunt in Camden. However, it’s cheaper at Extract Espresso. So, we saved money.
The layout is cute and has a homey feel. We’re impressed with the coffee. No different milk as we wanted to save as much money as possible. The cutest thing about Extract Espresso is they serve their coffee in Campos Coffee labeled mugs. Now that is what we call loyalty to the brand!
Verdict time. Would we come here again? We would but when it’s less busy. What’s important is the place is popular with the locals. We’ve seen places like Coffee Gossip and La Society Café busy when we’ve been at Narellan Town Centre. Then there’s the case of little business. We’ve also been to places where the venture is so dead that it’s a miracle they’re still open.
The only issue we have with Campos Coffee is it gives us a caffeine high and it’s unpleasant. That’s why we have small cups so the effects aren’t as great.
If we had more time (and money) we’d buy food at Extract Espresso as well. We snapped a shot of the menu which you’ll find below! So, what do we give the café? ⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of five. It would be higher if Campos wasn’t served as their brew of choice.
