Coffee Spotlight: Radley’s Bistro and Bar (MET Centre)

Radley's

We’ll admit we were a little lazy last week in not posting about Urban Barrel. In saying that, we will make up for it with today’s post on Radley’s Bistro and Bar at the MET Centre.

Map To Radley’s!

Radley’s is on the top level of the MET Centre, across the street from the entrance of Australia Square. They’re a fully functioning bar and bistro with a takeaway element catered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We walked past it the first time, and it was empty. Going by it a second time, there was a massive lineup. We went to the bathroom, returned a third time, and found the place almost empty. Perfect timing!

The waiting was a little long as the people sitting in the bistro got first priority which is fine. Totally understandable. The coffee itself was by Byron Bay Coffee and tasted not too bad. Think how Campos is the brand used by R Coffee Co in Camden but another brand. Anyway, we ordered a small for $3.50. Not too bad in price, and saw on the menu that different milk was only $0.50 rather than the $0.70 or $0.99 we’ve seen at other places.

What was great about the Radley’s coffee was they took their time in making it. This might irk some people, but it’s actually a good move, as you don’t want people coming back and complaining their purchase wasn’t done right.

If we had more time, we’d go back and try the food they had on offer. Who doesn’t love bacon and egg roll? Now, would we go back there again? We would, but when the place isn’t swimming in people. We’re going to rate our experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of five because of the waiting times. Other than that, we’d go back in a heartbeat.
