In Defence Of Princess Catherine – OPINION

Catherine Private Property

Catherine, The Princess of Wales is no one’s private property.

Catherine, the Princess of Wales has been to hell and back this year. The woman formerly known as Kate Middleton had abdominal surgery in January. She also received a life-changing cancer diagnosis. For nine months she has been doing sparse engagements. However, this wasn’t good enough for some people. In the minds of a minority, Catherine is their private property, and therefore, should be doing what they want, even if she is sickly.

For months, there were conspiracy theories that Princess Catherine was dead, in a coma, was a robot, AI-generated, and even worse, a victim of domestic abuse. Celebrities, like Kim Kardashian, joked about her disappearance only to retract their statements with poor apologies later. Though, Kimmy K didn’t. At least the controversial Blake Lively, issued an apology, after the Photoshop thing, despite how unapologetic it sounded.

Catherine Is No One’s Private Property: The Common Stereotype

When Catherine did appear in public, some people claimed she didn’t have cancer because she still had her hair and looked well. There is a common stereotype that all sufferers of this disease need to be thin and lose their hair. Medicine has advanced so much that potential hair loss is no big deal.

The king didn’t lose his hair when he started chemo treatment, and no one complained. But they did with Catherine. Why? What’s the point?

The Photoshop Drama And “Catherine Should Show Herself To Disprove Rumours!”

Moving on, there was controversy over Photoshop errors Catherine made in the UK Mother’s Day picture Prince William took of his wife and children.

This ultimately left the Waleses to come up with a strategy. Put the pictures out themselves and not through the press. This caused a surge of ridicule in the media who didn’t like the idea of going to the Kensington Royal Twitter or Instagram accounts to get pictures for articles.

There were even situations where some reporters decided to toot their horns by proclaiming “Show the real version of Kate’s photo!”

Now, we’ve come full circle with so many media ‘professionals’ claiming that the last thing they want is for Catherine to become like her sister-in-law, Meghan Markle. This came after she and William published a video of them with their family on holiday while being a regular loved-up couple.

The Woke Naysayers Try To Make Catherine Their Private Property

Catherine is no one’s private property. She is a woman who has completed chemotherapy. She is a mother of three children under 13 and a devoted wife to the future King of England. The Princess of Wales has served the British crown faithfully since she married in April 2011 and became the Duchess of Cambridge.

For the world to scream “Kate’s not sick!” shows there is no compassion for a woman who needs time for herself as she recovers from an illness that could’ve taken her away from her family.

On the flip side, many people understood she needed privacy and gave it to her. Upon the drop of the video, some individuals went on evening chat shows, and said it was “Kate’s truth is that she had cancer” and not THE truth.

The whole thing of “my truth” versus “the truth” is woke gobbledegook for saying, “My feelings and opinions matter more than the truth.”

How is it “Kate’s truth” that she had cancer? All the Princess of Wales has done is be transparent about her illness. However, she does not want to give away too much. Catherine is a private person. She should be allowed to heal on her own terms, away from the public gaze.

Naysayers Take Two: Step Into Catherine’s Shoes For A Moment

Let’s turn our attention to the naysayers a second time.

If you or a loved one were in the public spotlight like Catherine, would you want your personal health battle to be broadcast worldwide?

How would you feel about the horrible conspiracy theories? How would you react if these allegations were made against them? Would you want your friends and family to rally around you, protect you and tell the media to back off on your behalf? Think about that for a second.

We often question the sanity of Catherine’s critics. Why aren’t you criticising The King for the same things? He too has cancer and hasn’t broadcast any of his journey outside of getting back to work. Yet, you demand that the Princess of Wales do so. If she did, you’d be criticising her for not acting like a stereotypical cancer patient.

It makes no sense. Catherine is no one’s private property and deserves the same privacy as the King.

There is a common misconception that royals are stiff, pompous people who don’t like interacting with ”peasants.” That isn’t the truth. The royals love the public. Look at how much Catherine enjoys getting in with parents who have kids of all different ages. Her first instinct is to go for the babies. She loves it. Not to mention, the late Queen loved it when things went wrong.

A Ruined Concept – Thanks, Hollywood And Editing Mistakes

Hollywood has ruined the royal concept, as have the Sussexes. They are brainwashing their audience into thinking royals are out of touch and archaic when they aren’t. For the monarchies to thrive, they need to adapt to the times.

The British monarchy has done this well. There are things they could improve on. But no one is perfect. The idea of royals being the personification of perfection is ridiculous. Catherine admitted during the Photoshop debacle that her skills weren’t great. Yet, she was raked across the coals.

What is evident is that photo agencies who killed Catherine’s  Mother’s Day photo didn’t do the same to the photoshopped images that the Sussexes have released. One example is the Christmas card from a few years back. Archie’s hair is depicted as the same shade of red as Harry’s. Meanwhile, Lili had only three fingers on her hand.

Why wasn’t any of this called out but Catherine’s innocent mistakes were? It’s double standards regardless.

Catherine Is Not Private Property, Sussex Squad

The Sussex Squad hates Catherine with a burning passion. What did she do to Meghan that was so bad? The Princess of Wales has said nothing publicly about her. Yet, Markle thinks it’s okay to talk badly about others behind their backs, knowing they cannot fight back.

Meghan has spoken about being a victim of online bullying. But she doesn’t stop to defend her sister-in-law who is constantly harassed online. Markle is a hypocrite. She is fighting for awareness. Yet, she allows it to happen to others within her familial circle.

Meghan Markle Did Not Have Mental Health Struggles, Catherine Understands Struggles

Catherine is an advocate for mental health. Her brother, James Middleton, went through a difficult time, which he highlights in his new book, Meet Ella. He also credits his sister, as per Marie Claire, for helping him alongside his beloved late dog, Ella.  Not to mention, the Princess of Wales has been to therapy sessions with him.

For Meghan to say, “The palace didn’t care that I wanted to off myself,” is out of left field. We don’t believe that she had mental health issues. She is supposed to be university-educated. Anyone with a brain knows you don’t go to Human Resources in the royal family.

Meghan was a family member, not an employee. Also, Harry was the patron of several mental health charities. Surely, he could’ve gotten her help. Her narrative falls apart given her husband’s inability to call his therapist for her. This is not us being cruel. It’s common sense.

If Catherine were in this type of headspace, William would support her. We’ve seen this with her recent cancer battle. He spent some time off to help while she recovered from surgery and the overall shock of her diagnosis.

Harry’s claim he didn’t know how to help Meghan and that his family doesn’t talk about mental health is in his wife’s head. He knows that his brother and sister-in-law are strong advocates for mental health.

To Catherine’s biggest critics, we implore you to tell us with evidence to back your claims that she is horrible. How was she cruel to Meghan? Side note, Markle’s “feelings” and PR fluff pieces bashing her sister-in-law don’t count. We also want receipts for how she doesn’t have cancer. Unless you’re one of the horrid individuals who tried to hack her medical information, then you won’t be able to provide proof.

Moreover, leave Catherine alone, she is not anyone’s private property, and no one has a right to order her around.
