The One Attribute The Cambridges Have That The Sussexes Don’t

throne

A raging storm amongst the chickens – The throne is closer than ever for Prince William, a future king in the making. Kind and compassionate towards every person he talks to and meets, he has proven to make his parents proud when he ascends the throne. The late Diana, Princess of Wales, always knew her eldest son would be a great monarch. However, she started to grow concerned for her youngest, Harry. Part of her felt he would need the extra guidance as he was the spare to his elder brother.

We’ve said before here at Project Fangirl that there is a curse upon the role of the spare. Princess Margaret experienced it during her lifetime, and so has Prince Andrew, who appears to loathe his older brother, Prince Charles’ station, as a future king. We don’t mean to be demeaning here, but it’s true. The lower you are in the line of succession, the less relevant you are.

Harry doesn’t seem to understand this. Multiple sources have said that he was always unhappy with his place as a royal and yadda-yadda over the years. We get it already. He and Meghan have nothing on William and his wife, Catherine. The Cambridges have one attribute that the Sussxes do not; this is marketability.

Throne vs. Spare

William and Harry were so close during their childhoods. Though it was bound to end someday, no one could’ve predicted that their estrangement would cause it. It’s a real shame too. They could’ve been an unstoppable team if things had gone the way they were meant to.

However, it didn’t, and now Harry believes he is more important than his brother. He doesn’t want to see himself as being irrelevant. William, we assume, would love to have his brother at his side, but it wasn’t to be. Meghan took that away from him for a life in Hollywood, where they would be rich. Or, that was what she promised her husband.

The Cambridges’ have marketability because they play by the rules. Occasionally, they’ll go against the status quo. However, they know how important the monarchy is Britain and that if people keep stepping out of line, the British people will call for it to be abolished they will be no more.

Harry’s bitterness and jealousy towards his brother didn’t start with Meghan pushing the narrative. Tina Brown’s latest book, Palace Papers, rescends that the Duke of Sussex had Olympic-sized fights with William, as per a review by Jack Wright of the Daily Mail UK.

What’s more is this may stem from an alleged comment Harry made when he and William were little kids. Apparently, William said he didn’t want to be king so Harry piped up and he would take the job. Despite this being two children playing around, could it have been possible that Harry held onto that thought, believing it could happen? Perhaps.

The Royal Wives

At first, it appeared that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan had become close. That’s what the media was playing the narrative as, until the Megxit happened. However, before this, stories started coming out about Markle making the Duchess of Cambridge cry during the bridesmaid fittings for the 2018 wedding. Then, during the Oprah Interview, Meghan said the reverse happened and that she cried, not her sister-in-law.

For a while, people largely ignored the original story as a fabrication, but as more horror stories came out regarding Meghan, the original story became believed over the newer version.

Now, we know that Meghan doesn’t like playing second fiddle to anyone. We’ll talk about this a bit more in another post, but Thomas Markle, Meghan’s dad, told PDina that the whole reason for their rift is due to him not cutting her older half-siblings Thomas Jr and Samantha out of his life as she didn’t want them talking about her.

Thomas said that you can’t control children in their 50s. He’s absolutely right. Once your child reaches adult age, they’re not longer your responsibility. It’s clear to us that Meghan didn’t like that she was playing second fiddle to Tom Jr and Samantha and proceeded to cut off her dad as he wouldn’t put her first whereas Doria, her mother, would’ve.

Meghan hates that she will not sit on the throne beside Harry and has been reduced to nothing given Harry’s position in the line of succession. The Duchess of Cambridge will become William’s consort and sit beside him on the throne of the consort.

When she said told Oprah that she went into being a royal naively, Meghan was partly correct. First off, she knew her stuff when it came to Diana. Why else would she dress like her? Also, remember when Samantha told an Australian radio station Meghan wore Diana’s favourite perfume on her first date with Harry? Secondly, part of her was naive as she believed being a royal meant staff having to bend to the royals. Thirdly, Meghan believes that royalty is all ballgowns and tiaras.

The One Attribute; Marketability

The world adores the Cambridges. Well, except the Sussex Squad and Republicians. Anyway, the reason why William and Catherine are so popular is because they don’t complain and whine about their privileged lives.

Meanwhile, the Sussexes are throwing around every card imaginable to get sympathy. I worked in the beginning but the more it comes up, people aren’t giving two fucks about their woes. They’ve also been caught up in one too many lies and people have actively called them out on their bullshit.

William and Catherine use the platforms they’re given as royals to raise awareness for causes close to their hearts. Finally, the Sussexes only take the money and don’t make an impact despite saying they do.
