American Riviera Orchard Is A Rip-Off Various Other Celebrity Brands

American Riviera Orchard rip-off

Meghan Markle’s “soft-launched” American Riviera Orchard is failing before it’s even started, and everyone knows it’s a rip-off of various celebrity brands. She recently amended the trademark to include other things outside the kitchenware she was originally peddling.

Since the launch of American Riviera Orchard, people have quickly pointed out what a rip-off the brand will be. There have already been arrows pointed to Goop, Martha Stewart and Highgrove. But there are others that you mightn’t have thought about.

So, let’s start with the new trademark filing for makeup and skincare. We’ve pointed this out before, but two women who have links to Prince Harry, Jennifer Aniston and Rihanna, have their own successful brands. Jennifer has the haircare label LolaVie, and Rihanna has the skincare and makeup brand Fenty.

Next, we have Kylie Jenner. She is super successful in the cosmetics game. Meghan has ties to her because she shares an agent with the Kardashian clan, which Kylie is a part of as a Jenner. Harry was seen on a ski trip with Kylie’s mother, Kris’s boyfriend, Corey Gamble. Not to mention, Meghan’s mother, Doria, was at an event with Kris and Kylie’s sister, Kim.

Going into the cookery side of things, this is an obvious one, as Meghan has tried to pass herself off as a foodie before. Before she married Harry, she dated a chef named Cory Vitiello. She also appeared on Chopped Junior as a “guest judge.” This is the same type of brand that Martha Stewart has been using for years.

The amended trademark application also mentions cooking utensils, including knives. Hmm. There is a guy who worked on Chopped and has a knife brand named Geoffrey Zakarion. There is also Ayesha Curry, Wolfgang Puck, and, of course, good ol’ Martha Stewart.

Let’s move on to gardening. Now, this one threw us for a moment, though something was nagging at it. Then, it hit us. Jamie Durie, an Australian gardening expert, once had a brand called The Patio that sold in Big W stores, which included gardening tools. Also, Jamie has a celebrity client list including Chelsea Handler and Charlize Thereon.

Now, the pet food one inspired this post. The only person we can think of who has a pet food brand is James Middleton, Catherine, the Princess of Wales’s brother. He has a brand of dog food called James & Ella, named after his late dog, Ella.

Finally, we have the stationary filing, and to us, it sounds like Meghan’s American Riviera Orchard is trying to rip-off off Kristina Karlsson’s Kikki-K.
