Why Princess Anne And Mike Tindall Should Be Applauded Their Closeness

Princess Royal, Mike Tindall

Princess Anne, Princess Royal, also known as King Charles III’s sister, is the mother of Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall. Due to her daughter’s marriage, she is also the mother-in-law of former Rugby player Mike Tindall.

Over the last few years, we’ve seen how close the Princess Royal and Mike are. Anne, William, and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales, recently joined Mike’s podcast, The Good, The Bad and the Rugby, where they spoke about their love of sport and being competitive. Seeing the royals joking with Mike and his two co-hosts was fun.

The Princess Royal And Mike Love Each Other Dearly

This is also not the first time we’ve seen Mike and Anne show affection towards each other. During Mike’s stint on the UK version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, he recounted the Princess Royal’s reaction at Zara’s 30th birthday when Mike suddenly lost his pants. He said the inscription on his underwear was “Nibble my nuts,” and Anne saw it and said, “Surely not.” much to his embarrassment.

This was just before Zara and Mike were married, by the sounds of it.

Seeing Mike and the Princess Royal get along so well shows a certain couple who shall remain nameless about what they’re missing out on. Also, Anne isn’t afraid to put her son-in-law in his place, and he listens to her. There’d be consequences if he didn’t do what he was told. We’d love to be a fly on the wall for that interaction.
