Elizabeth Olsen plays the Scarlet Witch, also known as Wanda Maximoff, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Affectionately known as Lizzie to those who know her, Elizabeth Olsen made her film debut, Martha Marcy May Marlene, in 2011. Before this, she was known for being a sibling to twin Full House child stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. The twins shared the role of Michelle Fuller.

In 2013, Elizabeth Olsen was cast in an uncredited cameo in Captain America: Winter Soldier as one-half of the Maximoff twins. She plays Wanda Maximoff, better known as the Scarlet Witch. Her first appearance came in the film’s post-credit scene, in which she starred with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played Wanda’s brother, Petro.

In 2014, Elizabeth Olsen and Taylor-Johnson played husband and wife in Gareth Edwards’ remake of Godzilla. They co-star alongside Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston. Elizabeth also executive-produced the Facebook Watch series, Sorry for your Loss, where she plays a grieving widow.

Seven Times The Charm As The Scarlet Witch

Elizabeth Olsen has played the Scarlet Witch seven times over the last ten years. She’ll reprise the role in a vocal capacity in the second season of What If…? Therefore, she is rumoured to return to the WandaVision spin-off series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. However, this rumour has not been verified. Moreover, she mentioned she might be back during an interview at the 2023 Oscars. It was here that she co-presented an award with Pedro Pascal.

Finally, Elizabeth Olsen is getting mad praise, as per Slash Film, for her upcoming role as female killer Candy Montgomery in the miniseries Love and Death.
