Did you know South Park’s Kyle Broflovski has a cousin who shares his forename? Kyle Schwartz is Kyle and, by extension, Ike‘s maternal cousin through their mother. He has asthma, which is why he has heavy breathing. He is voiced by Trey Parker, one of South Park’s creators.
Cousin Kyle’s first appearance in the South Park Season 5 episode, The Entity. The reason for his arrival from Connecticut is that his mother was sick. His characterisation is that of someone who has been overly stereotyped Jewish person.
Kyle pays Cartman money not to reason Cousin Kyle. Cartman gives in to temptation and mentions something about concentration camps. Kyle’s other friends quickly realise that his cousin is too annoying to be living in South Park. It also causes worry among the group that Cousin Kyle could damage the Jewish community’s good standing in South Park.

A running gag then ensues of the boys doing everything they can to get Cousin Kyle to leave South Park. However, no matter what they try, he keeps returning, hence the catchphrase “I’m back.”
Cousin Kyle returns to Connecticut on his own accord when the government decides to bail out airports. He got $5,000,000 bail-out money because he had investments with the now-outlawed IT vehicles that were supposed to replace planes. He went home with his money to help his mother.
Finally, he has been a recurring character since Season 5. Moreover, he has had leading roles in five episodes, including his debut episode.
