How Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee Year Will Be Forever Tainted

tainted

Seventy years is a long time to be committed to anything. Her Majesty The Queen’s entire life has been about devotion. Over her ninety-five years of life, her family has shifted with the births, deaths, and martial additions to the familial fold. However, not everyone is willing to play by the rules. In other words, what could’ve become a historical year, has become tainted by more than a few wayward royal relatives.

We’re only two months into 2022, The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year, and the drama has already kicked into high gear. From Harry and Meghan’s whinging to Andrew’s sexual assault civil case to Eugenie rumoured to be the Sussex mole to the drama with Charles, this year is shaping up to be a pretty horrific year.

So, we thought we’d go over a few of these disrespectful royals and how they’ve tainted the Platinum Jubilee year.

Tainted: Whingy Sussexes

One of the largest issues to face the Platinum Jubilee year is Harry and Meghan, the Queen’s grandson and granddaughter-in-law. All these two do is complain while doing the opposite of what they’re whining about.

For example, Harry is threatening to sue Her Majesty’s government if he doesn’t get the MET police protection reinstated. Moreover, this is emotional blackmail, which has nothing to do with his grandmother but the police themselves. However, just this week, he was seen at the Superbowl in the US with Princess Eugenie (whom we’ll get to a little later) without security guards.

Another example is how Meghan told Oprah Winfrey that her children wouldn’t get titles and security because they’re children of colour. Umm. No. A royal child doesn’t need bodyguards as an infant as they’d be under their parents’ security. Also, none of the Queen’s other great-grandchildren except the Cambridge kids have titles.

The reason the Cambridge children have titles is due to their father and paternal grandfather being future monarchs. While Harry is Charles’ son too, he is not in direct line to the throne anymore. He was knocked down each time William and Catherine had a child. This doesn’t mean they’re special in any way. It’s just how the monarchy works. Direct heirs get titles. Those six and below generally don’t get the same privileges.

Andrew’s Sex Abuse Civil Case

Prince Andrew has been in hot water in recent years. His associations have come back to haunt him in the worse way possible. Not only has his past crept upon him, but it has also shown him to be arrogant in his assumptions. He thought that because he’s allegedly Her Majesty’s favourite child, he would get out of the situation scot-free. However, a couple of years ago, when the situation came to light, he did that interview where he claimed he had a medical condition where he couldn’t sweat.

In recent times, however, Virginia Giuffre, his accuser, and her lawyers demanded to see evidence from a doctor of this condition. Whether they got this, we’ll probably never know. But, whatever. This isn’t about that. It’s about how undignified Andrew has been towards his mother over the last few years. While it’s understandable that he’d want the drama out of the way before the Platinum Jubilee, he also didn’t help matters around the time of his father’s funeral.

It was rumoured at the time of Prince Philip’s funeral that he and Harry kicked up massive stinks that they’d be excluded from wearing military uniforms, while others could. Apparently, Andrew wanted to wear an admirals uniform when he never achieved that rank. In the end, it was the Queen who stopped the fighting and said that NO ONE would be wearing military dress.

Then, the stories came out regarding how Andrew treated his staff. Especially, the maid who came said he terrorised her when she had to run up several flights of stairs every night to shut the curtains he was sitting beside.

Eugenie The Spy

To add insult to injury regarding Andrew and Harry, Eugenie, Andy’s youngest daughter, has all but been ousted as the Sussex spy. The photo of her and Harry at the Superbowl the other day is all but proof. To anyone who thinks we’re lying, we’re not. How else would the Sussexes know when the other royals have engagements? Why else would Harry and Meghan put out speeches or zoom calls or whatever else when the actual royals do? Oh, we know! They want to overshadow them.

Also, there has always been some form of resentment from Eugenie towards the Cambridges. The Body Language Guy, did a video a while ago where he broke down her body language. He concluded that Eugenie is NOT Team Cambridge.

In conclusion, she also publicised Meghan’s 40th birthday on Instagram but didn’t with Catherine or any other royal outside of her immediate family. We did a whole post on the Eugenie situation.

Not Really Their Fault

Now, this final one isn’t really Charles and Camilla’s fault, so we’re not including it in the tainted category. It’s not their fault they got COVID. Anyway, what we’re talking about is the Prince of Wales’ aides doing shady things. One of Charles’ most trusted aides, stepped down from his job as he was caught up in a cash for honours scheme.

People have questioned whether Charles was aware of what was going on. Then, to make the situation worse, Harry chimes in and says he told people about the shady dealings years ago, and nothing was done. However, someone allegedly came out from his father’s camp and told him where to stick it and that he hadn’t said anything to anybody.

We don’t honestly believe Charles knew anything about the cash grab. He wouldn’t jeopardise his future by keeping his mouth shut. He’s aware the Diana situation still has people doubting his ability to be monarch, even if it has been almost 30 years.

Moreover, this affects Charles as it was within his household.
