It has been confirmed that Steffy will be pregnant…
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood – who is pregnant in real life – will play Steffy as being pregnant in upcoming episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, according to our Instagram source @hopebethspencer. The information was confirmed by the actress behind the Forrester heiress during an interview in a recent edition of Soap Opera Digest.
Only issue is, who could the father be? We’ve addressed this a couple of times. One was when we weighed up the possibilites for both Liam and Finn. The other was the potential start of yet another paternity storyline.
What is it with Steffy and her not knowing who the father of her children is? Anyway, there’s an upside and a downside to all of this.
Firstly, Steffy is giving Kelly a sibling through her. Regardless if the baby is Liam’s child or Finn’s, the baby will either be a full brother or sister or a half. Beth is Kelly’s paternal half-sister through their dad.
Secondly is a massive downside. If the baby ends up being Liam’s, Hope will know that her husband strayed back to his ex-wife and it could mean the end of their marriage. Not to mention, Steffy will lose Finn. Basically, this whole thing will be a rehash of when the Forrester heiress was pregnant with Kelly and didn’t know whether her then-husband was the father or Bill.
We still have our fingers crossed that Bill is Kelly’s father.
Depending on what happens, it would be a thrill to have Finn and Hope feel rejected because their significant others strayed back to each other, just like Thomas said it would. They hook up and then we’ll have Hinn!
Though, Thomas would likely jump in and try to snag Hope… again for himself. Please don’t let this happen.
