The soundtrack for Stargirl Season 1 is just amazing. We thought we’d post a list of all the songs heard throughout.
Stargirl‘s freshman season had a stellar soundtrack. Every song heard matched the show’s pacing amazingly well and there were times where we didn’t know what songs were called. We also think all the fans who are reading this right now will feel the same way. Never fear because we’ve gone through the entire series so far.
The songs listed below will include the song title and the artist, though not the scene or the original album it might’ve come from. They will be listed in the order in which they pop up in the show. So, sit back and relax because we’ve got ourselves a Stargirl soundtrack listing to create.
There will be asterisks on a few on the songs, so be sure to read the notes as well. Some pieces of music we weren’t able to pick up on the Shazam app. All of this will be explained when appropriate.

S01E01: Stargirl/Pilot

There’s a repeat of Who Put The Bomp in the end credits of the episode to round off the soundtrack.
S01E02: S.T.R.I.P.E.

- The Man – The Killers
Note that The Man plays over the credits of this episode. Also, there were not as many songs on S.T.R.I.P.E.’s soundtrack as there was in the Pilot.
S01E03: Icicle
- The Girl Can’t Help It – Little Richard
- Cobrastyle – Teddybears feat. Mad Cobra
At this point in the series, the song soundtrack was shortest in Icicle. Cobrastyle played over the credits.
S01E04: Wildcat
- Love Myself – Hailee Steinfeld
- I Could Get Used To This – Danger Twins
Like with the Icicle episode, Wildcat only had two songs, though it’s possible we missed one.
S01E05: Hourman And Doctor Mid-Nite
- Wonderful – Everclear
- People Are Strange- Echo And The Bunnymen

- Heads Will Roll – Yeah Yeah Yeahs
- Heads Will Roll (A-Trak Remix) – Yeah Yeah Yeahs

- I’m Sorry, I’m Not Sorry – Carl Perkins
It’s unclear if Revolution 909 by Daft Punk* did feature as part of the episode’s soundtrack. We’re only going on what the Shazam app picked up. There was a song that the application couldn’t pick up after this due to the use of dialogue.
There was also a song playing on the truck radio before it’s stopped by Anaya. Shazam couldn’t pick it up because not enough of the track played.
‘Hourman and Doctor Mid-Nite’ has the most songs in the season thus far.
S01E06: The Justice Society

A song that Shazam couldn’t pick up is the one that plays during the diner scene with Jordan and Cameron.
Timber plays over the credits of the episode and is probably one of the best songs in our soundtrack listening.
S01E07: Shiv Part One

There was a piece of score over the end credits of the episode.
S01E08: Shiv Part Two

There wasn’t much to this episode’s soundtrack at all outside of the song at the beginning and the score.
S01E09: Brainwave
- Insane In The Brain – Cypress Hill*
End credits has score only.
*My version of Shazam picked up the song as Insane In The Brain rather than “Insane In The Membrane”. A quick Google search revealed that the song was released to Cypress Hill’s 1993 album, Black Sunday as “Insane In The Brain”. Essentially, it’s the same song.
S01E10: Brainwave Jr
