Looks like Nick Fury and Talos will have some interesting female company in Secret Invasion…
The Marvel Cinematic Universe keeps getting bigger. At the Disney Investor day last December, Kevin Feige revealed during the Marvel presentation that the storyline, Secret Invasion would be adapted for Disney+. He added that Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn would return to their iconic roles of Nick Fury and Talos, respectively. In recent days, we’ve gotten two new castings from Full Circle Cinema which reveals Olivia Colman (The Crown) and Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones and Solo: A Star Wars Story) to be joining the series.
Secret Invasion has also cast Kingsley Ben-Adir though all three characters are currently unknown. There is likely to be more castings soon. We don’t know how much of the original storyline from the comics will be incorporated.
Of all the little information we have, the first season will have 6 episodes so it looks like this might be a longer show like Loki will be. It will, according to the series’ page on the MCU Fandom, it will be a sequel to Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home. This gives us a rough idea of when the series takes place in the timeline.
