The Bold And The Beautiful

RJ Recruits Finn To Help Luna In Her Battle Against Li

RJ, Finn, Luna

RJ Forrester is just the sweetest. He’s hung up on intern Luna and now knows about her familial ties to Doctors Li and Finn Finnegan. Wanting to support his new girlfriend, RJ recruits Finn in Luna’s fight against his mother, her aunt, Li.

From the moment Luna got those phone calls from her mother, Poppy, it was clear that Li rules the roost in their family. Li even goes so far as to proclaim that her sister is a disgrace and always has been. Moreover, Finn hasn’t seen Luna since they were kids, where they were super close. He admits that he never understood why they never saw each other much.

Luna Reunites With Finn

Luna explains that his mother cut off any ties they had to each other. It appears that Finn only has a lot of love for his cousin and is thrilled to see her even if he doesn’t recognise her at first.

RJ also points out that everyone at Forrester Creations loves having Luna there, and Li has no right to say otherwise. He also tells Li that even Steffy would agree if she were there.

Li Berates RJ But He Holds His Own

Li tells RJ twice that her relationship with her niece has nothing to do with him. He counters her argument, saying they’re in his family’s company, so it is his concern. Thank god he didn’t tell her that he kissed her. She’d probably say Luna seduced him.

Finn must step in and tell his mother to back off his cousin. Better yet, he should tell her off for not allowing them to see each other for years. Li had no right to pull them apart. Also, her problem is with her sister, not her niece. Luna doesn’t appear to be anything like her mother. Though we know very little about Poppy, we shouldn’t be judging now.

It’s About Reputation

All Li seems to be worried about is her and Finn’s reputations. However, Finn can think for himself. He can make his mind up on whether Luna is in his life. Just because you associate with someone doesn’t mean your rep is immediately affected by association. Okay, in a highly structured environment like working for a hospital, sure, but this didn’t seem to affect Li or Finn when they worked at the same hospital.

Let’s hope upcoming episodes give us more context.
