Good news, everyone! Prince Charles has recovered from Coronavirus!
There is some good news to share among all the negative news surrounding the Coronavirus. Prince Charles recovers from COVID-19 just a week after his diagnosis. This comes as a relief to his family. The 71-year-old heir to the British Throne is out of self-isolation after being given the all-clear from his doctors. He is said to be in good health.
The Prince’s wife, Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, tested negative for the virus and self-isolated separately from her husband at their Scottish residence.
Prince Charles made international headlines last week when it was revealed he had tested positive for the virus after a series of engagements. He displayed mild symptoms and was tested by the National Health Service (NHS) in Aberdeenshire. However, it is unknown how the senior royal contracted the virus and from whom.
Meanwhile, The Queen is said to be in good health and is at Windsor Castle with husband Prince Philip.
The UK Recovers From The Coronavirus
Currently, the UK is under lockdown. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has also contracted the virus and is self-isolating away from his pregnant partner at home. Confirmed cases are now sitting at almost 20k.
We wish the UK well as the nation recovers from modern history’s worst pandemic. As we have said to our Australian readers, please isolate yourselves and follow the rules. Moreover, no one is immune to COVID-19, and the only way it can be stopped is if everyone follows the rules and does exactly what they’re told. Therefore, we need to slow the spread.
Finally, the world is in this together. We can fight this virus and then go back to some version of our previous lives. Therefore, it’s important not to tear each other down. We need to pick ourselves up. In conclusion, we’re all in this together.
