Royal protocol is there for a reason, Meghan…
Meghan Markle thought royal protocol wasn’t for her, so she decided to break the rules and it pushed buttons. She doesn’t like being told what to do so when someone tried to pull her up on her treatment of others, she would cry racism. Not only does this show what type of person she is, but it also gives us an idea of how unsuited for royal life she was.
Tyrannical behaviour from anyone is unacceptable, especially if you’re in the public eye. This only opens up the tide pool for the conduct to continue to the point it spirals out of control. Meghan seems hellbent on destroying those who speak out against her. The Times reported in March, a few days prior to the airing of the Oprah interview, that Markle had been bullying staff and that it was reported but nothing was done about it. She then called the allegations a ‘smear campaign’ against her good character. Yeah, there’s nothing good about her.
Notice we didn’t say anything about race. Royal protocol is supposed to keep the royals safe. Meghan’s belief was that she could anything she wanted without having to follow the rules. If someone called her out on it, she would tell them off as if she wouldn’t get punished. Then, there’s the whole thing with the NDAs and silencing the alleged victims. Mind you, these are women whom Markle is meant to be an advocate for women’s empowerment. How is tormenting and pushing these ladies to the point of tears empowering them?
Also, Meghan did not think that anyone would care if she played the diva role. She forgets that The Queen is the face of the monarchy, not her.
The Staff
Reports of Meghan’s protocol breaking came out fairly early in her marriage to Prince Harry. At the time, it passed off as her being new to being a royal. However, the more it happened, the more things didn’t feel right. Then, staff started to leave in quick succession.
While the staff leaving had nothing to do with protocol, it shows the lengths Meghan went to insert her authority. She treated these women like insects that got trapped under her shoes. Note the image above. These are just some of the ladies who quit their jobs and/or bullying victims.
Most of these women are white while the charity director, Natalie Campbell is black. Ummm…. isn’t Meghan supposed to be a woman of colour? She was the one who helped Markle with the cookbook she did.
It is alleged by Meghan that no one helped her while she was a royal. Ah… yes, people helped her. Samantha Cohen who had worked with the royal family for almost twenty years had been assigned to help with the Duchess of Sussex’s transition into royal life, according to Harper’s Bazaar. Now, she [Samantha] is a tough lady, as her nickname is ‘The Panther’.
While Samantha had wanted to leave prior to being assigned to Meghan, her experiences with the royal family were all positive. After all, she had been in her job a long time. She would’ve taught Markle what protocol was what. So would the other aides.
Screaming At Catherine’s Staff
One of the biggest pieces of speculation, in relation to Meghan, was how she allegedly screamed at Catherine’s staff. According to Marie Claire which published an excerpt of Tom Quinn’s book, Kensington Palace: An Intimate Memoir From Queen Mary To Meghan Markle said the following:
Kate was horrified when Meghan shouted at a member of Kate’s staff—that was definitely the beginning of discussions about leaving Kensington Palace. Like many people not used to dealing with servants, Meghan overdoes the imperiousness; so on the one hand she wants to be like Diana, a people’s princess, and on the other she wants people to stand to attention when she clicks her fingers.

Meghan’s bad behaviour regarding the yelling at the staff member had to do with her overall jealousy of Catherine and William. They got to leave a lavish Kensington apartment while Markle and Prince Harry lived in Nottingham Cottage prior to their wedding. There is even the rumour that she wanted a wing of Windsor Castle. When we heard about this, it didn’t surprise us.
The Marie Claire article also points out that Meghan believes that the way the staff treated her is because of her being American, divorced, and biracial. In her eyes, she is the victim. What bought the green-eyed beast out is she saw how The Queen allowed her sister-in-law, Catherine to wear royal jewellery.
Protocol Protects Everyone
Meghan’s cries of not being taught royal protocol is just one of the stupidest things we’ve ever heard. During the Oprah interview, she attempted to use Princess Diana’s narrative of being unsupported as a vessel to excuse her bad behavour.
Look at the above photo. During her solo engagement with The Queen, she went to climb into the car before her. This is a HUGE no-no. However, at the time, people dismissed it because she was only new. The higher ranked royal goes first, meaning Her Majesty. So, when Charles become King, he goes first and so on.
Every royal is important, but Meghan didn’t want to accept the rules. Her saying that no one taught her to eat with the different cutlery or how to cross her legs or the lyrics is just a lie. Harry would’ve had to teach her what the National Anthem was. So, why didn’t he correct her when she said this during the interview? As for the others, she knew about the etiquette because she met with an expert, according to Glamour.
Not to mention, Sussex mouthpiece Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand wrote the following in their Harry and Meghan biography, Finding Freedom as per Film Daily:
Set to undergo the same information training Kate [Middleton] had embarked upon following her engagement to William ‒ a series of instructions that covered everything from how to most gracefully exit your chauffeured sedan while wearing a pencil skirt to when to curtsy to members of the family several rungs up the hierarchy from you ‒ Meghan was connected to a team of experts.

Note the last part of that sentence; “Meghan was connected to a team of experts.” This is coming from Omid who is a Meghan fanboy.
The Monarchy Is Instilled In Thousands Of Years Of Tradition
The British monarchy is over a thousand years old. We’ve spoken about this in our piece on Meghan’s attempt to destroy the institution vs. the traditions. Royal protocol has played a massive part in how the Firm – as the late Prince Philip called it – operates. Meghan is simply one person who did not understand. It does not matter if she is American or biracial.
She knew exactly what she’d gotten herself into. Markle can deny she didn’t know all she likes but people aren’t stupid. Her refusal to take orders and follow the protocol that had been in place far longer than she’s been alive speaks volumes. Meghan’s goal to turn the monarchy on its head and to operate in a way she saw fit just shows her ego. After all, a body language expert could see her ego flaring when she did a Zoom talk with the editor of Forbes. This comes after the host said she was not the only powerful woman doing the summit.

Meghan is glaring at the back of Catherine’s head. She doesn’t like Kate at all, but the glare. She hates the idea of not being able to take the lead on anything. What Meghan could never understand is her sister-in-law will one day be William’s consort and she is very well suited. She’s patient and kind and understands that it is not about her but her husband as he will be the king and she is just a supporting player.
Markle, however, thought that Harry was equally important as his brother. She didn’t like the idea of having to curtsy to individuals she deems lesser to her.
What Exactly Is Meghan Attempting To Achieve?
By breaking protocol and accusing the royal family of racism, what exactly is Meghan attempting to achieve here? We attempted to answer this in this post. Though, to end this article, we thought we’d take another crack at answering the question.
Meghan believes she is in the right and therefore, she is trying to cozy up to the Queen, despite trashing her and the whole family. Her Majesty will always put her family ahead of anyone trying to bring them down. The sowing of contempt Markle appears to be doing with her husband is only going to backfire when she eventually unceremoniously dumps him and she turns on him, claiming something horrible.
Look at how Trevor became nothing more than a stepping stone to her when they were married. She basically used him to get her role on Suits and those walk on roles in those couple of movies she ended up doing.
The monarchy is much stronger than Meghan thinks. Most people, except her lackeys, are not as stupid as she thinks they are. Also, do the strong-willed people who are against her narcissist behaviour believe her claims of racism within the royal family? No, they don’t.
