A certain Duchess must be screaming down her Montecito Mansion right now. Taylor Swift is currently in England for her Eras Tour, and she had three special guests in the audience. And no. We’re not referring to her football boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Prince William treated his two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to a backstage tour of Taylor Swift’s concert.
Taylor and Prince William have known each other several years and have struck up a friendship. From media reports, the singer was more than happy to treat her friend and his two young children, who are fans to a tour. Swift also shared a selfie which she posted to Instagram. The Kensingston Palace social media team posted a photo of the three royals with the singer and Kelce.
The trip to the Eras Tour jumps off the back of the photo posted for the Prince of Wales’ 42nd birthday that was taken by his wife, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, jumping from a sand dune with all three of their children.
Taylor also commemorated William’s birthday during the show. She also paid tribute to Catherine, who was unable to be there.

Prince William’s genuine friendship with Taylor Swift jumps off the jealousy of his estranged sister-in-law, Meghan Markle. It is believed, by Yahoo UK, that she attempted to recruit Taylor Swift to her now cancelled podcast, Archetypes via a handwritten note, something she and the singer favor. The request allegedly was turned down by Swift’s representatives. Ouch!
Moreover, the alleged Swift snub would not be the first time Markle has been denied by an A-list celebrity. It is believed that Reese Witherspoon was invited to Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding in 2018, but she declined as she didn’t know the couple. Another A-lister who rejected Megsy is Gwyneth Paltrow. She recently posted a comment under a picture of the Princess of Wales.
William, George and Charlotte were not the only royals in attendance. Mike and Zara Tindall also attended the concert. Princess Beatrice and her hubby, Edo, were there too. Though, it is unclear whether Edo and Beatrice were there on the same night.
