This is no fairy tale. There is no “once upon a time” or “happily ever after.” This is a real-life story. Our protagonist is a selfish British prince who was once loved by the entire planet as Diana, Princess of Wales’s youngest son. Now, Prince Harry is simply Harry Mountbatten-Windsor, Prince of Woke, Duke of Montecito. Having spent years trying to find “the one” like his older brother Prince William did in his university sweetheart, Catherine Middleton, Harry found his ideal woman in the form of Meghan Markle, a lesser-known American actress.
In Harry’s eyes, she ticked all the boxes of his future wife. She was beautiful, outspoken, and very much like his long-deceased mother. However, Meghan was anything he wanted in his version of Catherine.
His family and the public were supportive that Harry had finally found the woman he would marry. Though, it didn’t turn out quite the way he thought it would. For a while, everything was adequate, despite the prince putting out a strongly worded statement, lecturing the press over their supposedly racist undertoned stories about his girlfriend.
Harry never put out statements like this for his previous girlfriends. Putting one out for Meghan meant one thing; he was deadly serious in wanting to marry her and spend the rest of his life with her.
Wedding Cheers And The Downward Spiral
The wedding came, and it was a splendid affair. The entire world was delighted that Harry had finally gotten hitched to his dream girl. The crowds on the day of the event were huge as they crowded the streets and rejoiced like had they had done several years earlier at the wedding of William and Catherine.
The crowds adored it, and so did Harry and Meghan. However, things took a massive nosedive after the nuptials when media accounts painted a more oversized picture of the new Duchess of Sussex. The press branded her as a tyrant who made the Duchess of Cambridge cry. Then came the stories that claimed members of the Sussexes’s staff were quitting in instantaneous succession.
Ultimately, this was odd as you rarely heard of royal staff leaving their positions so fast. Occasionally, you’d hear of people stepping down due to new jobs elsewhere or retirement. After a while, the world forgot the stories.
Inside the palace, Harry started to change. His closeness to his brother and sister-in-law fell to jealousy and hatred. The cause? They could see through Meghan’s attempts to take over and not do what she was meant to do.
Harry Delves Into Spitefulness And Jealousy
Harry’s demeanour changes to the point that he and Meghan move out of Kensington Palace to establish their own office. What the public isn’t aware of is why. The in-fighting had gotten so heated that the brothers had screaming matches with each other over the phone.
One alleged argument resulted in Harry disconnecting the call on William in anger, prompting the future king to go to his brother personally. It was clear that the Duke of Sussex had changed since he’d gotten married and not in a good way.
Then, the stinger happened. After the Sussexes announced they were stepping down as senior royals, eighteen months into their marriage, the Commonwealth service was fraught with tension when Harry and Meghan were omitted from the program, something they weren’t told, allegedly until the day of the service. From the event came this photo:
Just looking at the photo, you can see the tension. Harry looks utterly pissed that he and Meghan were not in the program. Charles and Camilla look like they’re choosing to ignore Harry’s temper tantrum. This is one of the few photos from this period where you can see the cogs in Markle’s brain turning as if silently celebrating her victory of getting Harry to do what she wants. Moreover, she would use this to her advantage when they cried victimhood to Oprah about fourteen months later, where she claimed her in-laws were not supportive of her. Catherine looks defeated while William doesn’t know what to do, as if saying the wrong thing will set his brother off.
Today
After two years and now living in less wealth than he had before in California, Harry sees himself as a pioneer for “mental fitness” thanks to his so-called job at BetterUp, which caters to the rich with $500 a month memberships. The whole situation is sad. How did Harry, a fun-loving dude go to crying victimhood of his father cutting him off at 36-years-old? Oh, right. Meghan is responsible for corrupting him. She has torn him away from his friends and family, who warned him about her.
Harry should’ve known better. He knew as well as William did that when they started dating, there would be women who would go after them for their wealth and status. Catherine, to her credit, never cared that William was a prince or a future king. Neither did her family. She made him happy and vice versa. The Middletons were always incredibly close, and that is what William has always loved about his in-laws.
Meghan, however, wrote off her family as being “too poor” and not being important enough to be in her life. She threw her half-siblings out of her life early on in her twenties. By the time the royal wedding rolled around, she had abandoned her father as he lay in a hospital bed from a heart attack.
What child would do that? Abandoning their ailing parent when they need them the most? That, ultimately, brings us to the next part of this post.
Harry And His Feelings Towards His Family
Before Meghan came on the scene, Harry was very close to his family. He had hoped someday to have his children join his nephews, niece, and young cousins at family get-togethers. Well, this hasn’t happened. Yes, he allegedly has kids with Markle, but they have never even met their cousins. Archie likely met George, Charlotte, and Louis when he was a baby, at a time when he wouldn’t have any memory of this. Bear in mind that Louis is a year older than him, so neither of them would have a memory of ever meeting. However, George and Charlotte would remember as they’re a bit older.
Anyway, we’re aware that Harry thought Meghan would be like Catherine and love his family. However, she doesn’t “do” family as she doesn’t believe in it. She sees them as people she can mooch off and exploit for her own ends. Her husband now sees his family in the same light, believing that his family is nothing without him and Meghan.
He has lied about his love and admiration for his grandmother, The Queen. He has claimed that she always has her back. Though, we doubt she would’ve been thrilled by Meghan announcing what flowers were in the wreath she sent for Prince Philip’s funeral. Then, there’s that the Oprah Interview that went to air despite the Duke of Edinburgh being in hospital when it aired.
Then, there’s the Cambridges, Charles and Camilla. One word: jealous.
