Prince Charles, heir to the British Throne has tested positive to COVID-19.
Prince Charles (71) has tested positive to Coronavirus. The heir to the throne had mild symptoms and was tested. His wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall was also tested but her results came back negative. Mamamia reports that the Prince of Wales’ sons, William and Harry have been notified of their father’s condition.
Royal doctors believe the prince’s condition will not worsen as he is in good health. The royal couple are currently self-isolating at their home in Scotland. The tests are believed to have been carried out by NHS in Aberdeenshire. Sky News reported that the future King of England might have been contagious for least a week and half beginning from March 13.
Meanwhile, the Queen is in good health and has been alerted to her son’s prognosis. The Prince’s last public engagement was on March 12 and he also held private meetings during this time.
We wish the prince a speedy recovery and are holding him in our thoughts as the world fights the virus.
We will continue to cover the Coronavirus and will issue updates about Prince Charles when we have them. For now though, please stay safe, self-isolate and follow the rules. That way, we can shed COVID-19 faster and resume with our normal lives. Look after each other and please do not fight over things as trivial as toilet paper. There are better things we can do than buying up all the necessities.
Unfortunately, the world has gotten greedy and have lost the common sense a lot of people gained during the recent Bushfire crisis. However, we need to put on brave faces and we can’t do that if we’re in crisis. Please, be safe and help each other. We will get through this together.
