Was Victoria Beckham Snubbed At Her Own Son’s Wedding?

snub

Was it the snub of the century? – Imagine not playing a role in your child’s wedding. Is this what Victoria Beckham felt when she played no role in her eldest son, Brooklyn’s nuptials to actress Nicola Peltz? It might not sound nefarious, as it’s probably not. But, after reading that all of the Beckhams had a role to play in the event (sans Victoria), we thought it was odd. What mother of the groom doesn’t play a part?

Brooklyn’s two brothers, Romeo and Cruz, were his best men. Their 10-year-old sister, Harper, was either a flower girl or a bridesmaid and dad David was the master of ceremonies. So, where does that put Victoria? We did some digging, and while it doesn’t appear she had a role in the wedding, she did have a part.

When Brooklyn and Nicola announced their engagement in 2020, it is believed, according to Katie O’Malley at Elle Magazine, the actress’s dress in the photo (see below) was a Victoria Beckham design.

Many people have considered it was a potential snub that Posh didn’t design Nicola’s wedding dress, which Valentino designed.

People are questioning why Posh didn’t design the dress is that she released a bridal gown line in 2019. Moreover, this came after she was revealed to be the designer of Eva Longoria’s wedding dress, as per Chloe Best of Hello Magazine. However, as of writing, the page on Victoria’s website cannot be found. Nevertheless, the link for the page is still valid if you search for it on a search engine.

Honesty? We don’t believe there was a snub. However, it wouldn’t surprise us if there were a deal where Victoria played a role in the engagement but not the wedding. That way, she didn’t overshadow anyone.
