The Bold And The Beautiful: 6 Obsessions That Drove Fans Crazy!

3. Aly’s Obsession Of Getting Revenge For Her Mother’s Death

Okay, Aly Forrester might not have been obsessed with a guy, but she did have an obsession of her own. When she was younger, Taylor hit and killed her mother, Darla which left her and father, Thorne devastated.

As she grew older, Aly would experience dark mood swings and she would make enemies with people who stood in her way. She developed an obsession with getting even with the woman who robbed her of her mother. An eye for an eye in other words.

Aly decides to target Steffy, Taylor’s only surviving daughter. If Taylor could take her mother’s life, she [Aly] would take her daughter. Fair is fair, right? Well, her violent thoughts didn’t begin with plotting Steffy’s murder. It started when Taylor and Thorne got together briefly. The relationship fell apart as Aly struggled to see her mother’s killer with her father. She had also been kicked out of her pre-law school because of a violent incident.

Her mistreatment at the hands of her Uncle Rick and his then-girlfriend Maya, pushed her to put crosses on images of the model on the eyes. She did the same with photos of Steffy.

Aly’s obsession with killing Steffy got to the point where she popped the tyres of Steffy’s car and tried to kill her with a tyre iron only to miss. Steffy attacked her in self-defence and was hit with the tyre iron before she [Aly] fell and hit her head on a rock which killed her.
