Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Mutant Mayhem To Get A Sequel And A Television Series

Mutant Mayhem, sequel

Cowabunga, dudes! According to Yahoo Sports Australia, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Seth Rogan’s Mutant Mayhem film will be a franchise entity. Paramount+ has confirmed that Rogan’s Turtles will receive a sequel movie and a 2-Season television series called Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

It has also been announced that Jeff Rowe, the director, will be directing the Mutant Mayhem film sequel. News on the television series front is that it was 2D animated instead of the CGI-Spiderverse-type animation in the film. The show will also be the bridge between the first and second films.

Mutant Mayhem is due for release in early August and has received positive reviews thus far. If the franchise is successful enough, it will revive the TMNT brand, especially after the Michael Bay Turtles failed to miss the mark and fell flat after Out of the Shadows was released.

Mutant Mayhem Has A Strong Backing

A large franchise like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles needs good stories, and Mutant Mayhem has that. It also has the backing of the co-writer and co-director [Jeff Rowe] of Netflix animated hit Mitchell and the Machines. This film was a success at the time of its release.

There has been speculation that the Rogan Turtles franchise could spawn villain spinoff series for Paramount+.

It is unclear whether the film’s cast will also appear in the sequel and series. It is unknown whether the roles will be recast. We’ll issue an update when there is more information about the sequel and the associated series.
