Sheila Carter hates Katie Logan. Why? The youngest of the Logan sisters has a tie to Bill Spencer that the deranged gun-wielding attempted child murderer could only dream of having. However, she feels threatened by her new beau’s ex-wife and the mother of his youngest son, Will.
Katie still considers Bill to be family, despite their breakup. Not all exes can have the same relationship. She’s not bitter about how things went down between them. However, one thing she will not allow Sheila anywhere near her son or the rest of the family.
Sheila claims she wants to live in harmony, but blackmailing Steffy Forrester with her mother, Taylor Hayes’ freedom, is a surefire way to continue making enemies. The psycho, also the biological mother of John “Hot Doc” Finnegan, has been seen eavesdropping on Katie and Bill’s conversations, and then she has waltzed in like she owns the man.
Bill used to be able to talk for himself. Now, however, Sheila talks for him. He keeps his head down, and she acts high and mighty, claiming that everyone in his life abandoned him. Yes, Dollar Bill might feel lonely, but there’s the reason. He waffles as Ridge, Liam and Wyatt do. When he gets a ‘no’ from, say, Katie, he goes straight to Brooke or Steffy and begs them to take him back.
Thank god, the three of them had the guts to tell him ‘no’. He always claims to love them but then jumps the gun when he gets turned down. It is no wonder Quinn and Liam’s mother kept their sons as far away from Bill as possible. Wyatt and Liam didn’t turn out to be like their father personality-wise.
Katie knows that Bill’s heart was never entirely with her. He wanted Brooke over her, and she couldn’t deal with that again. Every man wants her oldest sister. That has never been a secret.
All the women in Bill’s life have wisened up to his need to jump between women. Ridge is the same and is absent from the storyline. Liam and Wyatt learned their lessons pretty quickly.
Now that Steffy is married to Finn, Liam doesn’t need to wait for her to get bored. Not to mention, Finn has made it clear that Liam is not to go after his wife.
Going back to Sheila and Katie, they have different relationships with Bill, but it’s clear he went with the only woman who wouldn’t recoil from his actions. People were left horrified when he almost killed Liam and Sally Spectra when he was desperate for the land that the Spectra Fashions building was on so he could build his stupid skyscraper, Sky.
Sheila doesn’t see Bill as flawed. Instead, she sees him as a powerful god who can do nothing wrong. Yet, she criticises the Forresters, Logans and everyone else (except Deacon) for thinking they’re perfect. Katie isn’t the one who is changing Bill. Sheila is.
