Babes Against Bullshit: Why Amber Heard Is NOT The Victim

Johnny Depp is innocent. I’m just saying that I will forever support his claims that he was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of his ex-wife, Amber Heard. I know people will scream at me and say that I’m supporting an abuser of women, but I’m not. I have no love for people who seek to belittle their partners and those around them to make themselves look good. I’ve been a target of bullies and would never engage in something as vile as putting others down.

Amber Heard has created a narrative that has made her star rise, and quite frankly, it’s revolting. Here is a woman off the back of the #MeToo Movement, saying that her ex-husband abused her when his exes (who were not paid) said that Johnny was a gentleman. Yes, he has had substance and alcohol abuse issues, but he has been open about this. He has also been arrested for assault but would NEVER attack a woman.

For all you Amber Heard supporters out there, you’ll probably demand I produce proof of what I’m saying. Well, that’s what this post of Babes Against Bullshit is all about. So hold onto your hats because this one will probably be long.

In The Beginning – The Amber Heard And Johnny Depp Saga Begins On The Set Of The Rum Diary And The Aftermath

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp met on the set of The Rum Diary in 2009. At the time, his partner was Vanessa Paradis, a French model and actress he’d been with since 1998. He also has two children with her: daughter Lily-Rose and son Jack.

Paradis and Depp split in 2012. In the same year, Amber Heard broke up with her female partner, Tasya van Ree. Long story short, Johnny and his former co-star get together and marry. They ended up embroiled in legal issues surrounding the biosecurity measures in Australia as they’d smuggled their two dogs, Pistol and Boo, into the country without placing them in quarantine. They were in Oz for Johnny to film the fifth instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

The marriage ended after two years. Then, domestic violence allegations started to come up, with both sides of the story trying to trump the other. This became incredibly messy, with Amber Heard accusing her ex-husband of abuse and vice versa on Johnny Depp’s side.

Things took an even wilder turn when The Sun posted an article saying that Depp was a ‘wife beater’ in 2018. He has since filed a libel suit but lost the case. As a result, he drops out of the upcoming Fantastic Beasts 3 film, where Mads Mikkelsen will replace him.

The Evidence That Says Johnny Depp Is Innocent – Winona Ryder And Vanessa Paradis Speak Out

Now, you Amber Heard supporters probably wonder where my proof is that Johnny Depp is not the monster his ex-wife is making him out to be. So I’m just coming to that now, thank you very much.

In July 2020, Insider posted an article that two of Johnny Depp’s exes, Winona Ryder and Vanessa Paradis, had come out to support him.

Winona dated Depp for four years, from 1989 to 1993, says the following:

The idea that he is an incredibly violent person is the farthest thing from the Johnny I knew and loved. I cannot wrap my head around these accusations. He was never, never violent towards me. He was never, never abusive at all towards me. He has never been violent or abusive towards anybody I have seen. I truly and honestly only know him as a really good man – an incredibly loving, extremely caring guy who was so very protective of me and the people that he loves, and I felt so very, very safe with him.

Winona Ryder – Insider article

Now, what reason would Winona have to lie about this? She would not have been with him if he had been violent towards her all that time.

Vanessa Paradis, Depp’s former partner of 14 years and the mother of his children, backs up Winona’s claim. She said the following in regards to Amber Heard’s allegations about her ex:

Nothing like the true Johnny I have known, and from my personal experience of many years, I can say he was never violent or abusive to me.

Vanessa Paradis – Insider article

She would’ve said something if Johnny Depp had been violent towards Vanessa. Also, their daughter, Lily-Rose, would have said that her father was savage towards her mother.

Why Would Winona And Vanessa Lie To Protect A Man They Were With Years Ago?

After much research, it has come to my attention that Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder have no reason to lie in their defence of their shared ex, Johnny Depp.

Why would they protect a man who is no longer in their lives? While their experiences with Depp are very different, they have a reputation in common. Why would they sacrifice their careers to defend him if he had been violent towards them?

Outside of Amber Heard’s words, there is no actual proof that Johnny laid a hand on her. This brings us to the photographic ‘evidence’ and the police report.

The Photos And The LAPD Police Report

According to a late May 2016 article by People magazine, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department revealed that officers were dispatched to the couple’s then-residence. But they saw no proof of any crime. It was also mentioned that Amber Heard had been the one to make the call.

There’s a bit more to this than you may think. If what the spokesperson told People magazine is the truth, Heard did not want a report filed, so one was not given. It’s also stated that an investigation would’ve been conducted if there had been signs of assault or abuse.

For instance, this makes me think that Amber Heard hoped something would come out of calling the police. Anyway, she filed for divorce and filed a photo of a bruise on her face as evidence of Depp’s violence against her. Also, Johnny is not present at the house during this time.

There are also photos of the actress’s face, per the LA Times. According to the earlier mentioned People article, Depp allegedly threw an iPhone at Heard’s face. However, I do not believe that these injuries were real.

Amber Heard Confirms She Did Physically Assault Her Ex-Husband

In a video by Body Language expert Derek Van Schaik, he plays an audio recording of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp talking about their fights. Moreover, she openly admits to the following:

  • She threw pots and pans at him.
  • She punched Depp in the face with a closed fist.
  • Johnny is non-confrontational and would walk out of the room and not fight back.
  • Amber is the one who would get violent. Not Johnny.

Van Schaik notices many things the average person would not have picked up on in the video interview. Examples include:

  • Gaps in Amber’s story about the iPhone.
  • The stalling with eating the chocolate.
  • Heard’s lawyer tells his client what to say and what not to.
  • The lack of emotion as she retells her story.
  • Not answering the questions from Depp’s lawyer in full.
  • Lack of details in the retelling of events.
  • No tears.
  • Changes the tense from past to present and back.

Observe Breaks Down Amber’s Deposition

Another body language expert of the YouTube channel, Observe, broke down the Amber Heard deposition video the same way Derek Van Schaik did but went into more detail. Moreover, he reveals that it’s evident that she does not want to be in the room. Above all, he points out that she contradicts herself by nodding her head to say ‘yes’. She understands what Depp’s lawyer is saying, but she verbally utters ‘no’.

The BLE (body language expert) also calls out Amber’s eating, which shouldn’t be done in this situation. In addition, he alleges that from what he has heard, this is a tactic for her. To bluff her way through answering the questions she is uncomfortable with.

Furthermore, he also points out that for him, being a non-verbal analyst, seeing her have a total lack of interest is frustrating. I agree wholeheartedly with his statement here. If Amber Heard cared, she would be more emotional, and her story wouldn’t have the massive holes it does.

Finally, the body language expert says that Amber Heard’s hand gestures mean she is trying to stop something from getting out and that she likely slipped up.

Observe Says Johnny’s Body Language Is Genuine From What He Can Gather

The same body language expert from Observe went over some of Johnny Depp’s videos too. In addition, he says that the actor has always been very softly spoken and that his body language appears genuine. His BL remains constant, while Amber’s does not.

Johnny Depp also adds the details that his ex-wife does not. Therefore, this shows that he is capable of telling the truth. In her deposition, meanwhile, she applies things that are not necessary.

Finally, the BLE also reviews footage from an interview with Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Given the hand gestures, it looks like the woman is in charge of the unhealthy relationship.

Evidence That Amber Heard Is An Abuser

Amber Heard is almost always the alleged abuser. Furthermore, we’ve pointed out Johnny Depp does not have a history of domestic violence. However, his ex-wife does.

According to a 2016 USA Today article, Amber was arrested in 2009 for assaulting Tasya van Ree. The actress and her then-girlfriend argued at an airport, and Heard allegedly grabbed or hit her arm. There were no charges filed.

However, van Ree says the whole situation was ‘blown out of proposition’.

There is another situation that isn’t the same as domestic violence, but Amber Heard allegedly stole her former assistant’s story of sexual assault, according to the Guardian. Secondly, the same woman alleged in court that her employer often sent her abusive texts in the early morning hours.

Finally, Johnny Depp’s butler is quoted in the Guardian article as saying Amber Heard would drink a couple of bottles of wine (likely a day) during the marriage.

My Thoughts

So, what are my thoughts on this Amber Heard/Johnny Depp saga? Furthermore, I think the actress is feeding off the public’s sympathy. She is using the #MeToo Movement as a tool to further herself.

Moreover, Amber sees people as gullible and will believe a woman who has suffered at the hands of her partner. Regardless of the evidence, she is milking that people get behind a massive movement like MeToo and Time’s Up. Heard isn’t much of an actress, and using the ‘abuse’ narrative is something she will utilise to make herself look better than she is.

In conclusion, Johnny Depp should never have been fired from Fantastic Beasts 3. The newspapers that he has sued for libel were always going to win. They will twist the truth to protect themselves, and it’s disgusting. There is plenty of evidence that says the actor is not a wife-beater. If anything, Amber Heard should have been fired from Aquaman 2.
