Let’s face it. There will be a massive shift in Meghan Markle’s lifestyle when she eventually goes in for the divorce from Prince Harry. THIS IS AN OPINION piece with several RUMOURS and THEORIES thrown in.
We know she loves having the luxurious lifestyle being the wife of a royal has afforded her. However, what will Meghan do when the divorce happens when her ‘royal’ lifestyle goes up in flames? That’s what we’re covering in today’s leading post.

Meghan Markle The Nobody
Okay, Meghan’s lifestyle before Harry was luxurious, but that increased one-hundredfold when she got with the Prince. When she became a royal fiancée, brands were clamouring over each other to give her stuff.
While Meghan got free stuff to promote on The Tig, the products weren’t as good as the stuff designer brands wanted to send her as a royal. However, what she fails to realise, without Harry, she would still be a glorified nobody. Her husband is the whole reason she has the A-list-ish recognition she has always desired.
Before the Sussex Squad starts crying, “But Kate Middleton would be a nobody without William!”, let us say, yes, that is right. But there is a huge difference between Catherine and Meghan.
Number one. Catherine, not Kate Middleton, married William for the right reasons. There is a rumour that her mother plotted to get her with the future king, but there is no proof to suggest this is even remotely true.
Number two. Meghan asked Lizzie Cundy if she knew any rich British guys. This is not an embellished story. The former WAG has mentioned this several times over the years.
Number three. No one knew the name ‘Meghan Markle’ as Suits was a very small show on a cable network. However, when the relationship became public, the show was publicised as this big deal, though it didn’t help the dwindling ratings. Also, most people had never heard of the show.
The Suits Card Won’t Work In Meghan’s Divorce Lifestyle
Meghan knows full well that without Prince Harry, she will be reduced back to where she started, a two-bit nobody. However, she could use the ‘But I was the one who made Suits trend on Netflix!’ card.
Sorry, Meghan Markle, but that won’t work. The Suits resurgence had more to do with people looking for something new to watch than you. You were not even the main focus of the show. You had on average about 3 minutes on screen per episode. That’s not much compared to the rest of the cast. You were sixth on the call sheet.
Yet, you, Meghan, thought you were the star. Newsflash, Patrick [J. Adams] and Gabriel [Macht] were leads. Also, Sarah [Rafferty] and Gina [Torres] had bigger roles on the show than you. That tells us a lot about you, Megsy. You believe everything, including a project’s success, is your doing. No, it’s not. Suits was a subpar show that failed to live up to the likes of The West Wing or Ally McBeal.
Sure, Meghan would be getting some kickbacks from Suits, considering she was on the show, but if we had to guess, it wouldn’t be that much. Again, her place on the call sheet would probably dictate how much she earns.
Meghan Markle: Not So Good With Words
There have been plenty of rumours that Meghan wants to write a book. Though, she has refuted this in a recent article. She loves dropping bombs on everyone so who knows what she’ll do if there is a divorce. Anyway, there are still two or three books that have to be written as part of the Penguin Random House deal. The first being Spare and the second, potentially being the children’s book that Megsy wrote, The Bench. Whether or not that counts we don’t know.
There was a story at the time that The Bench was published as part of this deal, but we don’t know for sure. Also, we did a post regarding why the book is an insult to authors who are struggling to get published.
Meghan also bragged (via a “source”) that she is really good at writing…
Yeah, whatevs. She is not a good writer. All she spews is word salad onto a page and calls it art. Also, who would say, “pump-pump” when describing a beating heart in a dedication to her husband and child? Talk about cringe-worthy. We cannot find where we saw the good writer thing. Also, having an acclaimed artist do the book’s watercolour pictures is not groundbreaking.
Meghan’s Divorce Lifestyle: Dish On Every Aspect Of Marriage To A Prince
One of a dozen things Meghan could do to fund her divorce lifestyle is dish on being married to Harry. However, knowing her, she’d probably over-embellish everything. So, she could talk about what he was like to live with, how he was as a father to their children, how he was in bed, etc, not that we need to know that.
Meghan, despite claiming she wouldn’t write a book, totally could. She, after all, has diaries where she recorded her life as a royal and probably before that too. She could also come up with crap about how her husband abused her and has issues that her love couldn’t fix.
She could potentially claim that Prince William tried to hit on her to get back at him for not caving to her flirting. Meghan might also claim that Harry flirted with other women and might’ve cheated. There have been rumours after all, but it had more to do with her than him. ‘
Remember the rumour that Meghan allegedly was cheating with her bodyguard? Hmm. This is the same thing Diana did with her bodyguard. Now this is speculation only. Do we believe it? There’s not enough evidence to support this. Just because the guy wore a tie the same colour and texture as Meghan’s dress at the Ms Foundation Awards doesn’t mean anything.
Also, if this rumoured affair were true, he should’ve been fired as he is a professional who worked for President Obama.
Turning The Children Against Their Father
We know Meghan doesn’t care about her children. They’re currency to her as they’ve got royal blood. Even if she does divorce Harry, she will use them against him to get what she wants. She could turn them into her minions and get them to say horrid things about Harry.
What she could get them to say is endless, if she goes down that route, but it wouldn’t be surprising. She could feed them the same BS she probably fed Harry about her life, but twisted onto their father. If you’ve read Tom Bower’s Revenge, the reason Meghan gave Doria for her divorce from Trevor was “he’s mean.” Who is to say she won’t use the same excuse with Harry?
Who Will Pay For Meghan’s Post-Divorce Lifestyle?
Even if there is a divorce on the horizon for Meghan and Harry, we believe that Harry will continue to find her lifestyle. Why? Because he’ll probably have to pay spousal and child support. Could she use the money on herself rather than the kids? Yeah, she could and it will cause problems.
She could have her PR people say, “Oh, she’s making money on her own through X brand and investments and doesn’t need her ex-husband’s money” which we know is her way of not holding herself accountable for her own selfish actions.
It’s possible Meghan could blackmail Harry into giving her additional money by threatening him with Y.
