Hogwarts Library – REVIEW #HarryPotter #FantasticBeastsAndWhereToFindThem #QuidditchThroughTheAges #TalesOfBeedleTheBard

Hogwarts Library

The Hogwarts Library is a series of three “Hogwarts textbooks,” including Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, Quidditch Through The Ages and The Tales Of Beedle The Bard. One of these books contains “handwritten notes” from Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.

This review will cover all three books as they are part of a set, and it’s not worth writing a 300-word review on a single book that has under 100 pages or over in the case of the other two.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

Book one in the Hogwarts library is Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, written by Newt Scamander. It is a “copy” of Harry Potter’s book from in-universe, which he loaned to Albus Dumbledore.

The book has over seventy creatures within its pages. Some of the best bits of the book happen the written notes from the trio, especially the ones that call out Hagrid.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Quidditch Through The Ages

Finally, we heard Quidditch Through The Ages and it was our least favourite. We’re not sporty. At all and while it was fascinating, it just wasn’t for us, hence the low rating.

The one thing we will credit this book for is the history of the different games that eventually led to the game of Quidditch, which we know now. It’s also interesting to see how beloved the game became over time.

Rating: 2 out of 5.

The Tales Of Beedle The Bard

We read the third book, The Tales of Beedle the Bard second as it was more interesting and it’s also our favourite of the three. We’ve read this before; we needed a refresher. The stories are unique to the Wizarding World setting and could be incorporated into the Muggle world.

Rating: 4 out of 5.
