Oof! Thomas Forrester is an arrogant git. He believes that because his sister, Steffy Forrester Finnegan, has custody of his son, Douglas Forrester, he’ll always get to see him. Sorry, but no. Also, does the dude not realise that Hope Logan Spencer has never stopped him from seeing their child? He seems to forget that. Even hot doc Finn agrees with his wife that the disgraced fashion designer cannot see his son whenever he wants.

Ouch! That would have to hurt. Thomas was boasting to his grandfather, Eric, about Douglas being with Steffy being a good omen. Even the founder of Forrester Creations knew his grandson’s plight would be extremely short-lived. He understands his granddaughter as well as he does Thomas and knows that Steffy doesn’t tolerate her brother’s crap.

Even Brooke And Taylor Agree… To A Sense

Even Taylor and Brooke, having lunch at Deacon’s restaurant, agree that Douglas’s stay at Steffy and Finn’s place will be short-lived. While the ladies want their grandson to be with their respective child, they let go of the difference of opinion and agree to disagree.

During the argument at Steffy and Finn’s, the doc, who had been upstairs helping Douglas, overhears the conversation between Thomas and Steffy and rushes down to put his brother-in-law in his place. Despite being reluctant to allow Douglas to stay with them, Finn knows his wife’s heart is in the right place. She had promised Hope that she would protect Douglas from his father.

Next week will be interesting to see how Thomas copes with his sister and brother-in-law rebuffing his desire to see Douglas regularly. In conclusion, the rejection from Steffy and Finn was not appreciated by him. They’re a lot tougher than he gives them credit for.
