Prince Harry needs to get out of dodge regarding his marriage to Meghan Markle. A divorce would be the best route for him. Why, might you ask? The former actress has been in the media a ton lately, and she has reduced her husband to a reference of “my husband” or “my now husband.” It’s like she has forgotten his name. I’ve spoken about this before, but after the Variety interview’s release, the youngest son of The King has been reduced by his wife to a nameless sidepiece.
During the interview, Harry is mentioned, but never by name. Instead, he is referenced as “my husband” almost half a dozen times. I’m not going to link the article as I want to give the Sussex brand as limited exposure as humanely possible. That is why I don’t watch, read, or listen to their nonsense. Anyway, I wrote two pieces a while ago about what would happen if a divorce occurred. The first is a rumour, while the second is a theory. There is a third article too.
Harry’s Mental Health Help Lie
Harry is not the most stable person regarding his mental health, and his comments at the BetterUp event last week summarise this in a nutshell. He claimed that before he moved to California with his wife and son, he had never heard the words “coaching” or “therapy.” Yes, you heard this right. To be in the military, you need to be mentally sound. Not to mention, before Meghan even came on the scene, the self-exiled prince credited his brother, Prince William, for getting him help for his mental health.
Losing their mother, Princess Diana, at a young age had a more significant effect on Harry than it did on William. However, while the Prince of Wales had mental health challenges, he overcame them as he supported those around him, especially his wife, Catherine. For those who might not be aware, Kate’s brother, James Middleton, has depression. In 2021, a feature in People Magazine referenced that he had been diagnosed with clinical depression.
Catherine is no stranger to mental health conversations as she has helped James through his. As have their sister, Pippa. Because of this, the Princess of Wales, William, and Harry came together and formed HeadsTogether. This was in the early days of Meghan being around.
BetterUp And Harry’s Lack Of Awareness
Harry’s involvement is even included on the About page on the HeadsTogether website. His name has been removed, but videos and photos remain. Harry is a thumbnail on one of the videos on the page. Going back to the present, the Duke of Sussex is now crediting his newfound employer of a year or more, BetterUp and Meghan, for helping him.
Okay, either Harry has a selective memory, or he’s been hypnotised to forget about the past. Nevertheless, the photo above and some simple research reaffirm the message that “the internet is forever.”
Returning to the conversation of why Harry would be better off getting a divorce is due to how Meghan controls everything. Is he blind to her manipulations? Yes. He’s too dense to know when to remove himself from a situation. Now, I have a couple of thoughts on what Meghan had envisioned for herself and Harry.
Meghan’s Vision – In My Opinion – Part One
The first thing I think she thought of many people is that she fed him BS that she was successful in Hollywood. She likely told him that she has an extensive list of contacts and that she’s a bigwig producer and writer because she ran a blog, leaving out the Working Actress site where she talks about her ‘magic boobs.’ Also, it wouldn’t surprise me if he fell for her crap about being a creative and knew multiple things about the industry when she didn’t.
Sorry, honey, but blog writing and screenwriting are completely different. I should know because I took the subject at film school. Also, I want to point out that Meghan is an actor who didn’t bother to extend herself outside the craft for which she thought she would win Oscars. Her costars, Patrick J Adams and Gabriel Macht, directed episodes of Suits. Both actors also served as executive producers.
Meghan thought that the royals would bend the knee to her, ignoring that there is a hierarchy, something she has probably never dealt with before Harry. She was always so used to having her way, even though the film industry has a hierarchy on film sets regarding the call sheet. Meghan was only near the top of any call sheet on those Hallmark movies she did. According to those who have seen them, especially the Dater’s Handbook, her acting is horrible.
Meghan’s Vision – In My Opinion – Part Two – Contradictions
Knowing Harry didn’t want to lose her after she threatened to leave him if he didn’t make their relationship public, Meghan made it her mission to excommunicate him from those around him. She did it gradually, not to be found out. First, however, she blacklisted all his friends who disapproved of her. She then turned Harry against William when he voiced his concerns.
Little did she realise people working within palace walls were talking to the press, hence the bridesmaid fitting fiasco. Then, after getting pregnant, she put on this massive show of victimhood, knowing Harry would be backed into a corner. She used his weaknesses against him, losing his mother and his desire for a wife and kids. Did she ever want children? Unlikely, given what Tom Bower mentioned in Revenge about Trevor wanting a family, she said no, as her career, or lack thereof was too important.
Bower also implies that Meghan didn’t consider Trevor good enough to father her children. However, he was more successful, something she didn’t see despite living off his money. No, she wanted a titled husband, which is why she got with Harry, hoping she could potentially achieve the idea of having children with titles.
Her plan is falling apart as Charles refuses to give Archie and Lili titles until Harry’s book emerges. She bitched on Oprah that it was Archie’s birthright to have a title when it wasn’t. She even mentioned the letters patent 1917, which were issued by King George V, which say that only the eldest son of the Prince of Wales was eligible for princely titles. In layman’s terms? She contradicted herself. Her children would never have had titles given at birth, as Harry is not the heir to the throne. It is as simple as that.
Meghan’s Vision – In My Opinion – Part Three – Divorce Pending?
Any royal watcher will remember when Her Majesty The Queen issued new letters patent in 2012 before the birth of Prince George. She made it known that regardless of the child’s gender, they would be a future heir to the throne. So, if he had been born a girl, that kid would be a future Queen. However, this patent was not extended to Harry’s children as he is no longer in direct line to the throne.
Meghan is supposed to be smart. If Charles says, “no titles for your children,” will she divorce Harry because their kids “aren’t safe” if they don’t get titles? Sorry, but you can’t dictate to the King, and yes, I believe she will. You’ve reduced Harry to a shell. She might think that the masses will rise to fight on her behalf to get her what she wants, but people see through her act now.
Also, it would not surprise me if she used this as an excuse to remove the kids from their father’s care during the divorce. She will play dirty and in the US, the mother gets custody a large amount of the time. Markle will likely use Harry’s mental health as a weapon against him and probably use domestic violence as a victim card. Meghan is capable of anything to get what she wants.
Could Harry Be The One To File For Divorce?
To end this post, I wanted to question whether Harry will file for divorce if it happens. I seriously doubt it as his goal was to prove that he was right and his family were wrong about Meghan. However, I have heard that if there were to be a divorce, he would not be able to leave the US permanently because of the children. I have no idea if that is true. I’m only reporting on what I have heard.
Also, I want to point out that if Harry removes himself from his marital dilemma, there will be a fight over who was in the right and wrong. I expect there will be Panorama-esque interviews like the one Diana did that saw her divorce from Charles.
For all we know, Meghan will not divorce Harry because she will lose her title if he remarries. One example is the two times Harry and William’s uncle, Charles Spencer, has divorced. Both his ex-wives had to drop their Countess Spencer titles. The current holder of the title is his third wife, Karen Spencer.
If Diana had been alive when the now-King Charles married Camilla, she would’ve likely had to give up her Princess of Wales title. So technically, the Queen Consort was the Princess of Wales but opted to be the Duchess of Cornwall.
