3. Dig Explodes When He Learns What Happened To Oliver And Lyla’s Disappearance
John Diggle and Oliver Queen are the very definitions of friendship goals. They’ve had their issues over the years, but at the end of the day, they’re like brothers. It’s a proven fact that Oliver was more of a brother to Dig than Andy was.
Anyway, the audience know that Oliver sacrificed himself in the first part of the crossover before Mia, Sara and Constantine tried to revive him in the Lazarus Pit during the second part. Their efforts revived his body but his soul wasn’t there, a concept Sara knows only too well. However, when her fellow Legend can’t revive her former lover’s soul. It becomes an even bigger mess once Dig finds out upon his arrival on the Waverider.
Sara does her best to calm him down and Dig ultimately blames himself for his best friend’s demise. She explains that they’re going to take Oliver to Purgatory to bring his soul back the same way her friend returned her soul. Dig tells her he’s going with them. However, things go from bad to worse when Sara reveals his wife, Lyla has gone missing.
The Monitor walks in but before he has a chance to speak, Dig tells him he will not lose his best friend and his wife and demands to know where Lyla is. The cosmic being says Harbinger can only be on place: with his adversary: the Anti-Monitor.
