Boy Is There Some MCU News To Go Over!

MCU News

MCU News Alert!

We’ve got MCU News, and it’s coming in at an explosive level! In today’s post, we’re covering revised release dates, new footage for upcoming projects, and title changes.

Before we jump in, we have to advise that there are NO television projects included in this post. The MCU News drop only involved Phase Four films rather than the material in the slate. We’ve got release dates for the MCU shows.

New Footage

First up, we have new footage. A “What’s To Come” trailer has dropped; and recaps previous events in the MCU, narrated by the late great Stan Lee. It also includes footage from the upcoming Eternals, directed by Academy Award winner Chloé Zhao. Here’s a look:

The shot of Angelina Jolie’s character, Thena, with the sword broke the internet. It is one of the best promo images we’ve EVER seen for an MCU project. Furthermore, this looks like it’s going to be a load of fun to watch.

Jon Watt’s Fantastic Four is included in Phase Four, but no release date is attached currently. However, Blade was not mentioned.

Name Changes

Our second MCU News dive includes the titles of some of the upcoming films.

Movie number on our list of changes is the Captain Marvel sequel. Its new name is The Marvels to reflect Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau.

Finally, change number two is the title of the Black Panther sequel. The film is now known as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Any story information is under wraps, and the late Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa will not be recast.
