Hawkeye: Yelena To Target Clint

Yelena

Look out, Clint! Yelena wants you dead!

MCU fans will never forget Natasha’s death on Vormir in Avengers: Infinity War. We all knew there be some form of consequences. Thanks to the post-credit scene for Black Widow, we’re getting a payoff according to the Hawkeye series page on the MCU Fandom. Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) returns as the vengeful former Black Widow looking to get even with her sister’s killer.

Little does Yelena realise, Nat’s “murderer” didn’t murder her. Natasha willingly jumped off that cliff on Vormir. Concisely, Contessa Valentina Allegra De Fontaine twists the narrative to get her to comply. While we do not know what she plans to achieve, Hawkeye should give us a layout of what we could expect going forward.

Clint always saw Nat as family. She was an honorary aunt to his three kids, even being the namesake of the youngest, Nathaniel. Yelena does not know the complete story. Given how she will be feeling, she won’t want to hear it. All she will want is Natasha’s killer six feet under the Earth.

What Else We Know About Hawkeye And How Yelena Might Come Into It

Outside of the Yelena stuff, Clint will be dealing with personal issues. He’ll also meet Kate Bishop. Life after the Snap isn’t easy. Just ask Sam, Bucky, and Wanda.

How Belova comes into the story is another question. Could she be the one behind the new villains? Are they, like her, being sent by Valentina?

Perhaps Yelena hires villains to take out her sister’s friend, unaware of the actual truth. When that doesn’t work, she tries to kill him herself before he reveals what happened with Nat. She may not even believe it at first, but then Clint might try to reason with her.

Lastly, the antagonist of the series will be Clown. Though, it isn’t established whether he will be Clint’s villain, Kate’s or even both. It is easy to see him in any of these scenarios. Though, Yelena isn’t someone who joins forces with anyone else. She only helped Nat, Melina, and Alexei because they were her family.

We won’t know anything until Hawkeye premieres on Disney+ in November.
