This should be a celebration of love for Bennifer, but how long will it last this time? – We were too young to remember Bennifer the previous time they got engaged. However, we do recall seeing an image of JLo in the movie Suddenly 30 (13 Going On 30 in the US), which starred Ben Affleck’s then finacée, now ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
Anyway, as much as we want to be happy for Bennifer, we’re asking ourselves how long Ben and JLo’s relationship with last this time. They only just go back together. He had just broken up with his previous girlfriend, and she had just dumped Alex Rodriguez.
Now, we’re not dissing Bennifer in any way here. But don’t they realise they broke up for a reason? Why get back together when it didn’t work out the first time? With all that said, both Ben and Jen deserve the happiest of lives. After all, they’ve both been faced with private issues. Some of which they’ve made public over the years.
We pray that the kids involved like and accept each other and their potential step-parent. For Ben’s three children, their hopefully soon-to-be stepmother shares the same first name as their mother. If the relationship wasn’t having a positive effect on the five kids involved – Jennifer has twins with her ex-husband, Marc Antony – then there would probably be no engagement.
All in all, we wish Bennifer the best of luck. It is our sincerest wish, despite our questioning of the engagement, that they remain together. They’ve been through hell and back to get to where they are today. Who are we to question that? It has been suggested Ben couldn’t with the media the first time.
We hope everyone is happy, and we look forward to where the relationship with Bennifer goes.
