Dark Hollywood. Home of the celebrity cat fight. Tinseltown is a dark place at the best of times. After all, they protected Harvey Weinstein for years. If Exposing SMG is anything to go off, there was plenty of protection for an alleged pedophile at Nickelodeon. So, we did an article on Jennette McCurdy’s beef with Ariana Grande during their days as Nick stars. In the post, we also referenced a couple of other things, including Victoria Justice’s envy of Ariana hogging the limelight during their time on Victorious. But, what we wanted to bring up is the cat fights bought on by Dark Hollywood.
Okay, so Cosmopolitian put out an article in March 2021 with Victoria Justice, who was the lead of Victorious. Justice claims that the cast got on well. We’re not buying this as Exposing SMG is impeccable regarding their sources. Also, Jennette brings up in her memoir, I’m Glad My Mom Died, that the iCarly and Victorious casts were pitted against each other. Also, ESMG did a video on three things McCurdy reveals in her book. This was one of them.
The Forced Drinking
As we mentioned in our Jennette and Ariana article, Victoria was just as much a diva as Grande as this was mentioned by ESMG. Also, one of the actors in Victorious, Avan Jogia, revealed in 2020, as per Just Jared that he doesn’t remember the show’s storylines. What wasn’t included was something that ESMG (see the linked video) picked up on after some digging; a fan asked whether the character he played was just hungover. Avan basically says “pretty much.” So, this backs up what Jennette mentions in her memoir about being forced to drink.
This is just one instance of dark Hollywood at work. We might go over this in another article later.
When Are You Going To Mention A Cat Fight?
So, we know you’re all here to hear about a cat fight or two. Well, here’s one. For anyone not born before 2010 will be familiar (hopefully) with Debbie Reynolds and Elizabeth Taylor. The pair were friends until Liz snapped up Debbie’s husband, Eddie Fisher.
This doesn’t necessarily fall into the dark Hollywood category until you count adultery, which is commonplace everywhere outside Tinseltown. Unfortunately, though, we do know one that does. Cast your minds back to the stories that started coming out about actor Armie Hammer and his apparent obsession with sexual fetishes and cannibalism.
There was a cat fight of sorts between him and his ex-wife, Elizabeth Chambers. According to E! Online, in February 2021, Elizabeth allegedly took a swipe at her ex by saying two words; “No. Words.” This was in response to the allegations against him. Moreover, this is being filed under Dark Hollywood due to the gruesome and bizarre claims that have now become a new documentary and have been highlighted in a Vanity Fair article. What makes it even more damaging for Hammer is that several generations of his family are caught up in the drama.
