Wokeism runs rampant in our society. Descended from the ever-despised cesspool of cancel culture, the woke pokes at the racial divide spilling out. Now, this might sound rich coming from a ‘privileged’ caucasian woman, but everyone must have some say in this discussion, regardless of their appearance or place on the outside.
Political correctness has always been a stain that no one can remove. Unfortunately, over the past few years, it has only worsened with the introduction of a “person’s truth”, which is usually not cemented in fact and logic. If anything, it is trapped within, not wanting to be held accountable for one’s actions.
What started as simple, like changing children’s nursery rhymes to be more “conculsive,” has fallen over a boundary that has become beyond ridiculous. There is no such thing as “a rainbow sheep” in real life. The latest thing that wokeism is trying to ruin, with Christmas just days away, is that Santa Claus is setting a bad example for children because he’s “obese.” We cannot all be stick-thin. Also, where are the role models for bigger kids?
Azealia Banks – Calling Australia Racist Due To Fans Throwing Things On The Stage In Brisbane
Influential figures will do anything to push their agenda onto others and to warp their perspectives. One recent example is the drama happening in Australia with American rapper, singer and songwriter Azealia Banks. The musician, who is well-known for causing public feuds with public figures – as per Complex – has accused Australia of being racist, as mentioned by Tone Deaf. She was supposed to play a show in Sydney but cancelled it due to a negative experience in Brisbane when fans threw things on the stage.
Why did Azealia even come here if Australia had a solid racial culture? Her fans paid hundreds of dollars to see her, and then she cancelled the shows because she didn’t like that people went rogue at her concert. Britney Spears said a similar thing after her Circus tour was panned due to her lip-syncing. She hasn’t been back since. However, we now know that she was under a lot of strain due to her conservatorship, which at the time, was run by her father, Jamie Spears.
Azealia acts like a spoilt brat because the tour didn’t go the way she wanted it to. Did she stop to consider her fans were drunk or on drugs? Or even that something was going on with her performance to make them want to throw things?
She did not consider it, as it was all about her needs.
Meghan Markle – The Queen Of Cancel Culture
Next, we have everyone’s (or least favourite), whiny narcissistic duchess, Meghan Markle. She is the queen of the dreaded cancel culture and is deeply embroiled in wokeism. For example, she attempted to cancel Piers Morgan for saying he didn’t believe what she told Oprah Winfrey about being suicidal. People were racist towards her son, Archie, before he was born.
Meghan has also recruited several people, such as Omid Scobie (who wrote Finding Freedom) and Christopher Bouzy (of Bot Sentinel fame), to dox and harass and, when necessary, silence her critics. Markle believes that every person who speaks against her has a racial hatred for her. Moreover, she has blamed everyone, including the British people and her husband, Prince Harry’s family, for being bigoted and “not knowing the real her.”
How many times has she tried to show the “real her”? Meghan throws people under the bus often and then tries to justify it by paying people to say she’s a “wonderful person”. She’s not a likeable person. Period. Her genuine personality shines through when she least expects it.
Jussie Smollett – The Racial Hoaxer
Jussie Smollett could’ve been a powerhouse for gay black men, but instead, he got greedy. He played a recurring role on Lee Daniels’ hit series, Empire, where he received positive reception for playing Jamal Lyon, a gay R&B singer. However, Smollett threw it away because he allegedly wanted more money.
He faked a racial hate crime on himself and proceeded to play the victim. Individuals fell for the act hook, line and sinker. But, as the police started investigating, they realised things weren’t adding up. Smollett had told the Chicago police that he had been attacked by two caucasian men wearing MAGA (Make America Great Again) hats who there homophobic slurs at him and a range of other things.
The police discovered that Smollett had paid two black men he knew to attack him. One of which was allegedly a former lover of his. Jussie was then fired from Empire, and his character was written out.
