Why Prince William Is DONE With Prince Harry

Who would blame William, the Prince of Wales, for being done with his younger, estranged brother, Prince Harry? The eldest of King Charles’ sons has better things to do than deal with the sibling who wants to be him and be the firstborn.

William has a wife and three children who need him more than his vengeful brother, and he will do everything in his power to ensure they are happy and safe. His eldest son, Prince George, has just celebrated his first milestone birthday, the big 1-0. If things had been different and Harry wasn’t mentally stunted and in the mess, he’s currently involved in, he would’ve celebrated with his nephew.

No, Harry. Catherine Did Not Steal William From You

Before recent events, William and Catherine enjoyed having Harry and always included them when they did engagements. Now, they cannot trust him. Not around them, nor their children, who barely know their uncle. They know everything they could say to him could be recorded and placed in another book or a “docuseries.” We say this loosely, given that the last one was a whinge-fest.

William has protected Harry for a large majority of his life. Now, as adults, Harry expects William to continue doing so, not understanding that his older brother has other obligations, like his wife and children.

Harry bought this up in Spare when he mentioned how he felt snubbed the night before his wedding because William couldn’t spend the night with him as promised years before. Catherine had only just given birth to Prince Louis, and she needed the extra pair of hands as she also had two toddlers (George and Charlotte) under 5 to wrangle.

Priorities Change

William’s priorities have changed since he and his wife Catherine married in 2011. He was now a father of three kids under five. Any sensible human being would understand this, but Harry isn’t ordinary. He even indirectly blamed his sister-in-law for changing the status quo and taking his brother away.

Catherine didn’t steal William away from Harry. She never excluded him from anything and always loved and respected him. Unlike a duchess, Kate doesn’t tear her husband away from his family. She has embraced his family as her and vice versa. The tremendous appeal the Middletons always had to the future king is that they are an actual family unit.

William Was Always More Mature Than Harry

As William grew up before his mother’s untimely demise, he had to deal with Charles and Diana’s constant arguments and affairs and be his mother’s ear. He knew her better than Harry ever did. With the Middletons, he felt whole as they provided what his parents could not. He didn’t have to listen to the fights or be shuffled between one house or another. Michael and Carole Middleton are still very much together, and raised three children are still incredibly close today.

Harry doesn’t seem to grasp that his parents were never well-suited. He alluded to this when he said, “no one in my family marries for love.” However, he just expected it to work. William knew all this and understood as he was mature enough to realise that just because something should be a certain way doesn’t mean it was meant to be.

Diana Was NO Victim

Diana is not the victim Harry believes his mother to be. She created chaos within her life. She invited the paparazzi in but got upset when they wouldn’t go away on her orders. Harry’s hatred of the media is not all as it seems. This man thinks that because he is a prince and the king’s son, he should win the case he has waged against the Mirror group, despite having no evidence of the alleged phone hacking. He also believes that William getting a settlement out of court for the case he waged years ago is sketchy.

Not Dodgy

Out-of-court settlements happen constantly with regular people. Unlike Harry, William gave the money he got to charity.

Having seen his brother’s downward spiral and constant need to beg for money, William will be worried about him because that’s the kind of man he is. However, he will no longer hope to have the same relationship he had with Harry when they were boys. He cannot have his children exposed to the toxicity of the prince who thinks people will hand him money and that he doesn’t have to work for it and then complains when no one listens to him.

Harry Will Be Cut Off, And He’s Bitter Because He Wasn’t Born First

Harry will have nothing left when the time comes for him to return to England. He has lost the trust of his family and friends and cannot be trusted with anything. He is his generation’s, Prince Andrew. There have been rumours that he treats women appallingly. Time will only tell if this is used against him if it is true.

William cannot help being the heir to the throne any more than Harry can help to be the spare. It’s not like Charles or Diana chose which son was born first. NO ONE with siblings can help in which order they are born. Therefore, Harry’s cries of “William got more than me growing up” rings hollow. Did he stop to think for a second that perhaps William asked for that extra sausage for breakfast because he was hungry? Harry is petty because he was not born first.

You Have No Say Over The Wales Children, Harold!

Harry mentions in his book that he worries that his nephews and niece will be “spares” like him. George is no spare. He will one day follow his father on the throne. Also, Charlotte and Louis will be fine. Despite being only eight years old, Charlotte is very mature. She will be like her great-aunt Anne who has three brothers and understands her place. Meanwhile, Louis will be the Harry of his generation; however, he will be more well-adjusted than his uncle.

William allegedly told Harry he has no say in how George, Charlotte and Louis are raised. If William were to express his “concerns” over Archie and Lili’s upbringing, there would be a massive uproar from Harry, accusing him of “interfering.”

If the brothers were close like they used to be, perhaps William would value Harry’s opinion. But he no longer sees his kid brother. He sees a stranger who looks like the Harry of old.

The Harry Of Old Is No More

In conclusion, William is the type of man who stands by people and doesn’t discard them. He can no longer say the same for his brother. The Harry he loved is dead, and someone else has taken his place. Only this version is constantly angry, bitter, and power-hungry for a position he was never entitled to have in the first place. Let us not forget that his tale of “I was born solely to be spare parts for Willy” is from My Sister’s Keeper, a book about a girl who sues her parents as she no longer wants to be “spare parts” to her dying older sister.
