Who Were The Bounty Hunters In Star Wars: The Clone Wars?

Bounty Hunters, Star Wars, The Clone Wars

Star Wars fans will be well acquainted with bounty hunters. The Clone Wars series introduced us to the bounty hunters we’ve come to know at an earlier time in their criminal careers. Let’s jump into the post from an orphaned Boba Fett to Aurra Sing.

The galaxy is a breeding ground for scum and villainy, as Obi-Wan Kenobi would tell a young Luke Skywalker in years to come. The boy’s father, Anakin Skywalker, dealt with many of the same bounty hunters his son would face.

Many bounty hunters ran around the galaxy during the Clone Wars, causing havoc. There was even a whole season dedicated of The Clone Wars series to the poodoo. Some of these shady characters included:

  • Cad Bane and Todo 360 – first appeared in the episode Hostage Crisis (Season 1 finale).
  • Aurra Sing – tried to kill Padmé Amidala, who Ahsoka Tano saved.
  • Boba Fett – orphaned after his father’s death, Jango and wanted revenge on Mace Windu.
  • Cato Parsitti
  • Sy Snootles
  • Greedo
  • Cassie Cryar
  • Sugi
  • Rako Hardeen
  • Asajj Ventress
  • Dengar
  • KRONOS-327
  • Onca
  • Fong Do
  • Twazzi

The bounty hunters above are just a handful of the ones we got during The Clone Wars. Some of them ended up getting out of the bounty-hunting game. Two of these were Asajj Ventress and Boba Fett.

When Bounty Hunters Go Straight

Asajj Ventress would end up going on the run after Count Dooku tries to have her killed. She then becomes mixed up in the Jedi Temple Bombing where she is framed alongside Ahsoka. She later becomes a lover of Quinlan Vos before she dies.

Boba, meanwhile, would remain a bounty hunter for a number of years. He gets out of the game after he is almost digested over a thousand years inside a Sarlacc. Finally, Tusken Raiders capture him and try to enslave him. Boba wins them over and becomes a member of their tribe.
