Summer Bay might be a sleepy seaside town but it is well-known for its drama. From natural disasters to love triangles, Home and Away has seen it all over the years. The most recent affair that never existed was between Rose Delaney, Mali Hudson, and Mackenzie Booth. Meanwhile, Marilyn Chambers has seen herself become the victim of a vicious Multilevel Marketing scam with a skincare company calling themselves “Stunning Organics.” However, when Roo, Marilyn’s friend and housemate, gets an allergic reaction, Maz and Kirby, helping her sell the products, uncover a dodgy organisation.
Marilyn was trying to make extra cash because she didn’t want her ex-husband, John Palmer, to pay for their son Jett’s wedding on his own. This ultimately leads to her and several friends putting together a forum for victims to share their stories.
Maz Fights Back Against Stunning Organics
Moreover, the more Maz fights back against the company, the more irritated the unseen CEO becomes. So much so that he sends a box containing a bomb and warns Marilyn to stop talking. When she doesn’t, the remote triggers the explosive.
In last night’s episode, the box is en route in John’s van with him and Roo on board when a frantic Mali attempts to stop them. He catches up to them and yells for them to stop and get out of the van. The vehicle stops, but not before it explodes, throwing Mali backward and giving John and Roo little time to get out of the explosion zone.
The promo for the big dramas, which included Andrew getting out of the doomsday cult and Felicity’s assault, says, “Someone Won’t Make It Home.” Back to the Bay theorised, as did many people, that it was just a ploy to get people to watch. However, Emily Symons, who plays Marilyn, was on The Morning Show the other morning, and she said that someone does die. Our guess is Mali, as they wouldn’t kill off Roo or John, given how big they are as characters.
Will Mali, Roo Or John Really Die?
However, Georgie Parker, who plays Roo, said a while ago she was going to take a short break from the show so she could do a play. This could have been a mistruth and could mean she wants out of the series altogether.
The promo shows Mali, Roo and John are conscious after the explosion. However, this means jack. Look at what happened to Hannah, the aunt of Oscar and Evie. She was involved in a blast and sustained an untreated head injury, and she ended up collapsing at work and dying. Oscar was killed in the same explosion. This was how Tori Morgan was bought in, as she happened to be walking by when it happened. No one knew the actors playing Oscar and Hannah would leave until the characters died.
Another example of the death of Mason Morgan, the youngest of Tori’s brothers. No one knew the actor was leaving until Mason was murdered in the Season finale. The same can be said for Ari.
In conclusion, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
