Zende is upset that inexperienced RJ is now in a top design position, so he [Zende] wants Luna, which will ignite yet another family feud. What Zende doesn’t know is that his grandfather, Eric, is on the verge of death and the reason why RJ is even designing is because their granddad asked him to help.
RJ wants Zende to know about Eric, but his father tells him his cousin can’t know even know even though Steffy and Thomas are now aware of their grandfather’s pending death. Poor Luna has no idea what’s going on as she’s happy with RJ but is oblivious to Zende flirting with her. She had never wake up soon because her boyfriend is already beginning to feel paranoid.
Does RJ have a right to feel like Zende is coming after him by taking Luna from him? Yeah, he does. Zende is being petty because he feels like Ridge (not Eric) is passing him over for RJ who has no experience in design whatsoever.
Zende Going After RJ And Attempting Steal Luna Was Not Expected
Zende’s sudden interest in Luna is something we didn’t see coming and we didn’t see him going after RJ either. Although, we didn’t see Bill almost killing Liam when he wanted to destroy Spectra Fashion so he could build his skyscaper, Sky. A feat he never got to have, thankfully.
Anyway, something needs to be done before this situation can become a full blown family feud. There is no doubt that there most people will probably side with RJ as there are a lot of people who now know that Eric is at death’s door. However, Zende is not one one them and RJ is right in wanting him to know.
Zende playing dirty is something Thomas of old would’ve been proud of. After Thomas has schemed for years to get Hope for himself. He succeed for a short while before his game came unravelled when the truth about Beth came out.
Now Thomas has Hope but for the right reasons. He didn’t scheme to get her this time, though Brooke and Liam think otherwise while Taylor thinks Hope is her mother’s clone as she has always done.
Just Tell Zende!
Yes, Ridge wants to honour his dad’s wishes, but there is an issue with that. What is going to happen when Eric does die (or if he does)? How are they going to explain to those who don’t know how he died? You can’t just casually say, “Oh, right well, Eric died because he’s been sick for a while.” No, that’s not how it works.
We know from media releases that Bridget and Thorne are returning. It is entirely possible that Zende never finds out as Bridget could find a “cure” or whatever is wrong with her father is not killing him. However, it needs to be pointed out that Zende will still need to be told because how do you explain why your aunt is back in town when she’s a doctor working at a different hospital?
Also, it’s doubtful that Bridget will want her nephew being cruel to her brother and therefore be able to prevent a family feud.
