The British Royals (Including The Sussexes) Put Out Statements On The Israel-Hamas Conflict

British Royals, Israel-Hamas

The British royals have published statements on the Israel-Hamas conflict just days after King Abdullah II of Jordan and King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands posted theirs.

Oli London reported that King Charles is “extremely concerned” about the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Catherine, have issued their own statement on their Twitter account. Their response was very measured and diplomatic, compared to what the Sussexes out on the Archewell website.

What stands out between William and Catherine’s statement and Harry and Meghan’s is that the Sussexes are just waffling off their word salad. In contrast, the Waleses are addressing the issue on both sides of the Israel-Hamas conflict.

What takes the cake is that the Sussex Squad is calling out the Sussexes for their statement. Kudos to the Royal Grift for finding the Squaddie responses.

The British royals don’t usually talk about political issues and must be apolitical on everything that is opinion-based. However, if there is a massive loss of life, they find ways to discuss it without jumping over to politics too much.

It’s a fine line to draw. However, the Sussexes jump into politics, especially American politics, when they have foreign titles. If they had dropped being “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex,” then no one would care about what they have to say.

Also, the British royals have better things to do than worry about what the Sussexes are doing. The Brits actually care about people, hence why the statements were carefully worded.
