Woo! It’s been a week on The Bold and the Beautiful. The mayhem of Thomas’ scheme to get rid of Brooke has been chaotic fun. After the Hayes-Forrester wedding ends before the kiss, Finn sides with Steffy over her brother’s behaviour. He even goes after Taylor for not speaking up and just hoping that Ridge wants to marry her without Brooke’s “actions” being the reason why.

However, we all know how Ridge thinks he knows best, yet he’s the world’s biggest hypocrite. Anyway, Finn and Steffy had every right to be upset. Thomas was why they were in a predicament to begin with. We’ve always seen the hot doc as a neutral force. However, some see him as being a Forrester sympathiser because his wife is a Forrester.

There’s little to back that up outside the occasional line of questioning whenever Brooke is metaphorically spat on. However, Finn has never shown any malice towards her. In other words, he’s a bit like Eric, who takes the moral high road. Moreover, he doesn’t take sides too often.

Going over to Steffy, and we’ve said before that even she wouldn’t call CPS to frame someone. So that’s a low blow even that she doesn’t cross. Furthermore, this shows she has a backbone, whereas Thomas thinks he’s right, and Brooke is the evil whore she has been made out to be for years.

We’ve said that Thomas never thought his plan would backfire on him. He never once thought about how it would affect anyone other than his parents, sister, and children. Unfortunately, the person he will have to face now is Hope, who happens to be raising his son.

Speaking of Hope, she told Liam about Thomas attempting to kiss her. You can imagine how well that went down. Luckily, Liam isn’t Ridge, who screams and yells over every betrayal. Was he annoyed? Yes, he was, but he didn’t fly off the handle. All he was concerned about was his wife and stepson’s safety.

Hope assured him that they were fine and that she felt like an idiot even for considering that Thomas had changed. It’s only a matter of time before we hopefully see her say she wants full custody of Douglas. That kid is old enough to know what he wants now. He’s ten now and has a mind of his own.

Would Steffy back this? It’s unclear, but given how Thomas has been acting lately, she’d probably back Hope for once. Even she knows how much her on-off stepsister loves Douglas. Given how her brother is constantly treating his kid, we think even Steffy will agree that Douglas is better off with his adoptive family. Eric certainly thought so when he dropped him off at the cabin.

Thomas didn’t even mention Douglas when he was arguing with Steffy at the office. Steffy doesn’t stand for his crazy antics and nor should she. If anything, Finn is why she’s not on the same level as her brother. She has done bad stuff before like locking Hope in a gongola so she could marry Liam instead.

Seeing Steffy take chunks off Thomas when very few people will was amazing to see. Thomas should know by now not to piss off his sister. However, he makes everything about himself, like their father does and its super cringy because the whole thing screams, “I’m the most important person in the world.”

Another thing that was interesting was how Finn defended his wife against Thomas. That was really nice to see as usually Steffy can defend herself and she did but fighting her brother is like fighting a wall. It’s funny that Tommy Boy talks about family when he literally is ripping into his sister for ruining their parents’ wedding.

As much as we don’t approve of Steffy crapping on Brooke and wanting her father to dump her, she is right on the money this time. Thomas’ actions are disgusting and him using Douglas to get what he wants is ugh.

As we mentioned, Steffy has her limits. She would go after adults but not children. We give her kudos for that. Children are off-limits and she knows that. Other people would rip her apart if she did what her brother did. At leas she has a moral compass whereas Thomas doesn’t. It’s sad really. He could be a great character if she didn’t do such crappy things.

Also, if Steffy can move on with someone who is not Liam, then Thomas can do the same thing when it comes to Hope. As it has been pointed out a million times, he needs to get over Hope as she does not want him. She co-parents with him, but that is it. Him claiming that he’s a one-woman man is just frightening. It shows that he has not moved on from her and will not move on until he can have her.

Thank god their two-day marriage wasn’t consummated. If the show was set in a different century, the marriage wouldn’t have been legal. Anyway, massive kudos to Steffy for telling her brother off.

Finally, we just want to give props to Finn. He is the whole reason why Steffy has semi-changed her perpective.
