Surprise! Young Justice Drops Its First Two Episodes For Season 4 – Without Warning!

Season 4

Young Justice keeps you guessing. Days before DC FanDome, we got a tease at the upcoming Season 4 with a poster. Fans discovered two episodes were streaming during the panel. The event, however, gave us a trailer courtesy IGN Movie Trailers on YouTube:

We’ve been rewatching the previous seasons to prepare for Season 4. Ultimately, it left us unprepared as we weren’t expecting an episode drop so soon. However, we’re getting there slowly, as we’re on Season 3. From what we’ve read, the first few episodes centre on Martian Manhunter, Gar, M’gann, and Conner as they head to Mars for M’Gann and Conner’s wedding. However, they end up caught in a Martian War, which includes seeing M’Comm again.

The situation allegedly puts a strain on M’Gann and Conner’s relationship. It pushes M’Gann to break it off temporarily. But we don’t know much else as we’re not that far yet. According to the trailer, M’Gann, Gar, and Conner have become leaders. When they enter the conflict on Mars, they put those skills to the test.

Moreover, the trailer shows Gar has come to see Conner as more than just his soon-to-be brother-in-law. He comes to view him as his brother. Also, from the reading we’ve done, more of M’Gann’s family is shown. We also learn that her dad is a White Martian, so she and M’Comm are White Martians. The rest of their siblings are Green Martians, like their mother. In Season 3, we learn that M’Comm was punished in the same way M’Gann was because they were White Martians.

Finally…

Finally, M’Gann’s family were created exclusively for the series. In the comics, J’onn and M’Gann were not related in any way, shape, or form. To round out this post, Miss Martian was co-created by DC writer and producer Geoff Johns, who created Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl, Patricia Dugan/Starwoman, and Tony Woodward/Girder.
